2003 toyota camry sportivo acv36r

Hi guys,

New to the forum.

Just bought my wife a camry sportivo. And yesterday began to have a central locking issue.

when the car is locked via remote its stays asleep for 5-10 minutes, then all of a sudden unlocks itself and the safety horn sounds.

im not sure what the issue could be. So thought id ask some people who know.

could it be door switches?

Ecu problem?.

Door lock issue or relay problem?.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Dad had a similar problem with an older camry. It was a faulty switch/button you press in the drivers seat to lock all the doors when you're inside. We stopped using the switch and it stopped the issue. Now it only does it on really hot days. When you lock the car, check to see if all doors fully lock.
