Problem with Reco engine

Nachos

Recommended Posts

I had a reco engine put in my deisel hilux. Seemed all good till I saw it was going through 5litres of oil in the first 5000k's !! Supposedly the fitters of the engine said it was coming from a pinhole in the return hose from alternator to oil sump. A amte who works with deisel engines said thats a load of crap...:( Any word from ANYONE that can shed some light ? Whats the policy for after service care when they already had to fix the muffler (fitted badly) is there an ombudsman to keep these guys honest?
