Head unit sd card issue

gonna revive a old post but still worked great for the touch screen i upgraded in my 2013 corolla. didnt work the first time around but i think what i did wrong was 

a) didn't use a small SD i found 8GB one worked well but my 128gb one couldn't read

b) make sure you let the head unit intially start up to get the program loading error screen THEN plug in the sd card 

stoked that this worked. will be keeping a copy if this goes down and anyone needs it
