Redbook valuations?

Hi Forum members, first post, I'm after some advice as I have never owned a toyota before. My father has a 2007 ateva. He can't drive anymore and wants to get rid of the vehicle.

I looked on redbook at valuations. Does anyone have any real world advice about pricing the vehicle?

Redbooks range is pretty big $6,900 - $8,600 and kilometers much higher than my dads car (140,000 - 230,000km's) thats on 107###km's.

If anyone can give me an idea of a fair price I'd appreciate it.

with thanks pth

Redbook seems to be a good guide..as always it comes down to being flex-able with your price expectation's..as Trent said condition is always important

Good Luck

Thanks for the input. There is some damage to the rear bumper. I'll take that into account. Looking through car sales for the model and year the private seller cars all seem to be on the high side of the redbook valuations.

I suppose the car will sell for what its worth but I dont want to underprice it when i put it up on car sales.
