especially when I have shifted to 2nd and rev beyond 3000rpm. But it doesnt vibrate when I am cruising even at 100kmh.

It only started recently.. do u reckon it's the wheel alignment/balancing? fuel lines/injector? gearbox????

My car has only done 9000km's

It's not a refined Mercedes-Benz, so you will get small vibration/noise etc. But how harsh is this Vibration when you accelerate? Is the whole car shaking your fillings out or is it just a slight vibration?

Hit any gutters/potholes in the 9000km?

Feels like the car shudders a bit, take it to a wheel place, get an alignment, they will tell you straight up whether there will be another issue. Things like that won't be under warranty, and they will quite possibly charge you more at toyota than if you go to an independant retailer.

Doesn't sound like your wheels are the problem but the first thing I would do anyway is get all the wheels re-balanced, this shouldn't cost anymore than $30 at your local tyre shop. This will tell staright away whether the problem is the wheels or your car. If this doesn't fix your problem than I would take the car back to Toyota for warranty as there is no doubt that the vibration is not caused by wheels. If the wheels are not the problem than it will definately be a warranty repair.

FYI - Wheel Alignment problems do not cause issue's like shaking/vibration. Wheel alignment's are so the car will travel in straight line, Balancing is for vibration.

Also, something else to remember for when you do need a wheel alignment. DO NOT get it done by a tyre shop, make sure that it is done by a Suspension Specialist. Tyre shop's do not know how to do proper wheel alignments, they are only good for fitting tyres. A suspension shop will charge you considerable more but you will save in the long run as your tyres will last longer because they have been aligned correctly.

True! we were taking our truck (business) to a tyre place to change the tyres and get it aligned and the thing kept on chewong through tyres! We took it to a suspension place and the tyres lasted double the time!

It is beacuse Tyre shops will only adjust the Toe Control. A proper wheel alignment involves camber adjustment & castor adjustment (Not Applicable for Corolla's) to maximise tyre wear & handling.
