I have a 2017 Rav4 which has been kept in my driveway in the open since 2012 and has developed stripes down the sides of the body. Initially I thought that they've been caused buy dew and dust, although I thought perhaps something at my local DIY carwash place might have been the cause. I had my local panel shop guy check it out but he didn't have any answers as far as what might have caused it but just suggested  cut and polish (of course he did). Even though it's been cut and polished, you can still see the stripes in the finish. Any one else seen this before? Any ideas on how to fix it would be great. Cheers.
