Hello everyone. I'm seeking for advise / suggestions on how can i adjust my car's fuel consumption. I have a Toyota Cressida GX81 (1993 / 1994 model) with 1G-FE gasoline motor (2.0L inline 6 EFI) automatic transmission.

I believe my motor is somehow running too rich and its consuming lots of fuel. At this moment my car's average fuel consumption is about 6km/Litre of fuel.

Is this the normal fuel consumption for this type of motor? Or are there ways in which I can improve its fuel consumption. Need suggestions on how air/fuel ratio can be adjusted and monitored given that these cars have OBD1.

Thanks in advance.
