by the way, ran the GOlf V GTI and he beat me a car lenght at the end of 750m.. Not bad for a stock X mate..

Has any of you guys removed the catalytic converter from the Xrsi and if so, what were the gains and have you experienced any probs....

mmmh....personally i prefer to replace it with a metallic sport cat (100 cells) and u increase performances and take a better sound.

A question for you: in U.S.A. is it allowed to remove the catalytic converter?? Here in Italy antipollution laws are restrictives and isn't it.

It's the same in Australia as well, it's highly illegal. There are many High Flow/Performance Catalytic converters on the market, there shouldn't be a need to remove it completely.

The stock cat flows ample for the stivo and gains out of a high flow compared to the $$$ isn't really worth it. Why do you want to remove the cat??It's illegal in most countries??? Have you had the rest of the system changed??? There are gains to made in exhaust systems and you can do it legally.

basically its smaller and allows more air through!

      Hey guys we have recently purchased a 2012 200 series (cut down dual cab - extended) 240km on the clock It lacks power when accelerating and the gear changes are delayed when you put the foot down. blows very little soot when accelerating Nil lights on the dash.       Upgrade from 2012 to 2023

      I have recently bought a 2012 Prado and was wondering if i could buy a 2023 strat write off prado and upgrade both interior and exterior so all the functions from the 2023 works regardless of the newer features and buttons.       ASV50 Camry Head Unit Options

      I have a 2014 Atara SL with the JBL Navigation head unit, it's getting a bit long in the tooth and I'd like to add Android Auto so I'm curious about what other owners have done. I don't want to lose the reverse camera and the dynamic guidelines, there are also some other car functions as part of it that would be good to keep. I have seen plug in modules that wire in that add the functionality to the existing unit so it's possible to keep it and switch between stock and android but I haven't seen a specific one for this model JBL unit. Has anyone had success with a later model Toyota unit bolting in?
