I have recently rebuilt the carby with a full kit and all working fine. However, I don't understand how the secondary barrel works. I note that it appears to only function when the "Choke opener" is activated by vacuum on the line. When this happens the linkage allows the second barrel to open up from about 3/4 throttle. If no vacuum and choke opener not activated then the second barrel wont move. How should I set this up? Do I need to run the Choke opener line to the intake manifold (where the distributor vacuum is located)? I don't see what the purpose of this Choke opener?
