Landcruiser wont turn over on hot days

Hi, Wondering if anyone can help me out.

I have a 2005 v8 landcruiser. It's been to the mechanic and they have not worked out what's going on.

When it's a really hot day it won't turn over straight away it takes a few goes. At first I thought it was due to having my ac on so I would turn the fan off and it would start. It's been doing it on and off for nearly 12 months and as I said mechanic can't work it out.

April last year I got the engine completely rebuilt and though what ever problem it has it may have been sorted too when the work got done.

Today I replaced its battery thinking it may be a battery problem. Turns out it's not.

The only thing we can work out is its Heat related.

Has anyone had this problem and can give me ideas?
