Clock on multifunction device not displaying

My LC300VX has an intermittent problem where the clock on the multifunction display does not work. Going to the menu and tapping on clock in set up doesn’t work either as it is greyed out as well.

the gps works so it can see satellites - sometimes it works but other times nothing.

any ideas? Has anyone else had this problem?

did you find a solution to why your clock is blank but options are greyed out? My 300 Landcruiser has just done the same thing… 🙈
