Tarago can't accelerate for first few mins
Could be knock sensor but not crank sensor. If you have a faulty crank sensor, it would not start or intermittently cutting out. As for knock sensors, when they’re faulty, you would get a check engine light on and low Power. Also the connector can deteriorate over time and caused a bad connection. So I would suggest to get code read before you’re going to throw some parts at it. just say if it was a knock sensor problem. I would suggest to go for genuine part, if not. Your local wrecker. Newer model Corolla and Camry shares similar engine. Don’t buy aftermarket knock sensor from Repco or SCA. PS: if you’re gonna be a loyal Toyota fan. Look up VCI cable with techstream. Good luck. -

Hi. If anyone has a spare old dvd for a 2007 Presara, I would pay for it. My head unit will not work without one. It just says insert dvd. cheers -

Brilliant! That's exactly it! I can even picture the settings screen it refers to. (It just isn't self obvious that that's what it's for). Thanks so much for tracking it down. You really must meet Betty one day. Not. I must run it with Car Play enabled. Then Betty and Siri can slug it out. Now ... can someone else help me with '2'? -

Ln167 cooling system
I feel your pain mate. This has to be so frustrating for anybody. Spend all the money and time and still have the issue exist. I have to wonder though, and CONROD, hit on something here, the gauge could be giving a false reading. I can't see how any modern engine can go straight to "H" on the gauge after a few minutes. I don't think it's possible, even when an engine is sickly with cooling issues, the gauge will go to half, three quarters and close to full, but not that quick. If you have a temperature probe, insert it inside the top radiator hose and monitor the actual water temperature manually. With coolant, it shouldn't exceed 90 degrees C. If it does then yes, you have an issue, and yes, monitor that bottom hose too. If it is collapsing during suction it may be restricting water flow. Very keen to hear the follow up. Good luck -

G'day Lance. Nice to have you onboard. Not much of an EV person myself but I can appreciate the hybrid system for now until our worldly Govts force us to ditch our dinosaur fueled cars. That's going to be a sad day indeed. I love my Aurion and all my other fossil fuel burning machines and hope to have them as long as possible. -

I have the same issue on my 2014 pip since my 12v battery depleted. Same with favorites. The favorites list is empthy it says. -

Ln167 cooling system
When you say its heating up it might not necessarily be overheating. If the temperature sender wire earths out it will head straight to the "H" on the gauge, Have you got another senser to put in, that will eliminate that. Just another thought, the Bottom radiator hose isn't sucking in & collapsing. Remove the thermostat altogether and see how it behaves, I,m not being a smart ***** , but it is in the right direction, Hope you sort it out bud , keep us informed of the outcome -

No idea on 2) but for 1) try THIS. It appears to be for the US market but describes exactly what you're after, so hopefully the settings/menus are the same- 1
