I have a 2002 Hiace Van fitted for weekend camping. I wish to carry two push bikes on my travels and am having trouble finding a compatible carrier for push bikes

i have a standard tow ball and initially looked at carriers that would attach to the towball.  There’s plenty of them but I wanted one that would tilt to allow me to open the tailgate door while the bikes were attached. The problem is all models I have tried don’t tilt enough to allow the door to open

Now I’ve looked at carriers which swing away to the side but these require a slide-in hitch but my model van can’t have this style hitch so I’m told.

Has anyone successfully installed a bike carrier of any style onto a 2002 Hiace van or similar so that the tailgate door can be opened while carrying the bikes?

Thanks for any feedback or advice
