Replaced the clutch on a 2003 Corolla Ascent made in South Africa model and cannot get the new driveshafts to fully seat (Replacing the old ones as part of the job). They are also in to a point where they won't easily come out. I'm starting to wonder if they are actually fully in. But I think they have to go another 2 cm or so. Any help appreciated. I've tried the hammer block of wood to the end of the shaft, pushing by hand with sharp force etc. But just can't get them to fully seat. I did check to see if they were the same length as the old ones along the splines etc before they went in and they seemed to match.

Thanks
