I've had an issue with my battery clamp for a few months now and silly me procrastinated. Often after a few drivers (2-3 days usually) my car wouldn't start, sometimes it would happen after I had been to the shop. All I was doing was righty tightening the positive clamp and then the car would start again...  And then a few days later; it would come loose again and I would give it another tighten to the right and then it would start.

But now, it is not starting at all. The battery is fine, I'm sure of that; so I imagine it has something to do with the clamp or the wire (i might have twisted it too hard after all the times of tightening it)

I brought a new set of clamps, and was unscrewing the positive clamp and then I realized its been soldiered onto the wire. I have **** all knowledge with cars, so am unsure what to do here. Any help is apperciated thanks
