Hi Guys. I have a 2006 KUN26R diesel D4D. Starter motor is on fritz. I’ve undone the power nut and the plug. I am doing this on the ground supported by axle stands so room and access is terrible.
i cannot for the life of me figure out where the two bolts holding it on are!!  YouTube videos are no help because they simply say undo them but don’t show me where they are actually are located. I need to do the old monkey see monkey do thing. I am confused by all the other bolts holding on other brackets and things. Does one bolt undo from the bell housing side and the bottom one from the front side?
Can someone help an old guy out with pics or a diagram or something? Crawling under a car and trying to get a clear view of the starter is nearly beyond me. Thanks in advance.

Try pulling the wheel off and pop the plastic clips holding flexi cover on, you might be able to get a better view in from the side

One bolt on the top and one on the bottom

Disconnect battery

I get the top one from the gearbox side using a long extension and universal and bottom one is undone with a ratchet spanner (17mm)
