Hilux 4x4 Ute Auto - Tips for 1st Year Electrical Apprentice

Recommended Posts

My son is a 1st year electrical apprentice and is looking to purchase a 2nd-hand Hilux 4x4 auto ute.
He wants to be able to carry his tools around and can fit a service body separate.
Also interested in a bit of light off-roading in his leisure time.
He only has about $20K (he could wait another 6 months and save another $10K) and also an automatic driver's license only (yes it's QLD).
Any tips for the best places for him to find one and minimise being taken advantage of?
