The rubber elbow on the CES intake is industrial strength rubber and is about twice the thickness of the TRD elbow. It will not break in a hurry and is a lot harder to fit than the TRD one. Plus the elbow for the CES CAI is 3" on both ends.

a proper reinforced silicon reducer elbow from thermalflex, SFS etc is the BEST option, but also the most expensive at approx $70 for the bend. Beware of a lot of the cheap silicon reinforced hose on ebay, some of that is no better than the crappy plain rubber elbows.

The last lot of silicon reinforced hose, elbows and reducers we got was ordered from the US. Including T-bolt clamps and express shipping the total was about 60% the cost of purchasing just the hose locally.

CES rubber elbow is 3" both ends as stated above <_< You cannot clamp it down .25" to match the 2.75" diameter of the TRD CAI asit is a heavy reinford rubber elbow that doesn't really bend.

Castle Hill Toyota has a hose :D

If they have the hose there and you plan to purchase it, aren't you afraid that it will crack like your one has? I'm just thinking if it's cracked once maybe it will crack again even if you dont tighten the clamps too tight
