I will be purchasing some rims very soon and just wondering what feedback people who have these tyres:

- wearibilty

- performance wet and dry

- etc

I got quoted 215/40/17 87 load rating for $160. Is that a good price @ blairs cabrammatta

205/50/16 @ $168

The TPGs are on the way out ,The Proxes are the replacements, same compound, similar tread cut..same feel,Grippy like a mf,The corolla reacts very well to the rubber, even if u steering style a lil aggresive, itll handle beautifully..more special on the wet,but ill leave it up to guys

hahahhaha :spiteful:

Will be getting a set of 225/40R18 Proxes 4 for my Rolla this week, will give feedback soon. After a bit of research this seems to be the best bang for your buck tyre:)

I've got a set of 4 on my rims. 205-40-17. I'm very happy with them.

Fairly hard to impossible to lose traction in the wet compared to my old falkens.

I'm much more comfortable whilst cornering in the wet.

Very grippy in the dry. I got them from Blairs for $155 a corner. I recommend these tyres.

Prob only downside would be i think they are a tad noisy. Not too sure about tyre wear also.

Ended up cancelling my order for the Proxes as it specifies not mount on a 7 inch rim.

Therefore i have gone with Kuhmo Ecsta SPT KU31 tyres in 215/40/18, plus they were even cheaper. Seems to have jsut as good reviews as Proxes, so will give them a review soon.
