if its the 7th generation, i know the ZR is heavier than the SX due to the sunroof and other extras, also has 16inch wheels instead of 15inch for the SX. Other than that mechanically its similar, comes with 2zzge and C64 6 speed gearbox. Don't waste your money on auto for this car, the car drives like a bloody slug if u get an auto, it needs a proper close ratio manual gearbox to extract the engine's potential. unless you simply cannot drive manual, then i probably recommend you get a v6 or v8. ;) werd.... NO GO AUTO!~ zr = beter ROFL nah same thing diffrent colour seats, smaller rims, headunit etc. etc. the 2000 and the 2003+ models have diffrent interior and exterior 20003 has black interior, new rear tails and front bar, but yea.. limiter at 8000rpm 2000 has it as 8200 and 2002 has it at 7800 :P

lol chasers is in melbourne dude. check out www.chasers.com.au -[ez]- got his syncros replaced and clutch flywheel installed all $2000, he said he dosent remember but it was something like that. he did it at chasers.

they told me that chances are my syncos is damaged (obviously) they said its beter to re-build the whole gearbox just incase, but they have to check if anything else is damaged. i highly doub it, my clutch isnt slipping or anything but. the dude from toyota said "honestly go to a mechanic that specialises in geabox's and get a re-build there, here we will do it with all toyota parts and its going to cost u well over $2000" and he gave me a card to go to chasers they said might cost me about 500 - $1000+ caus they duno whats the damage so far. but atm, i just double clutch when i down gear to help baby my syncros, next week or so im guna service my car, and also change transmission oil, redline :D and ill update about how it goes, but atm just double clutch!

hey nice car! :P i got the same problem, and chances are its the syncros and its EXPENSIVE to fix guna cost ya aprox $1000 or maybe even more. nah we have a diffrent problem to the corollas, we can get into gear fine, just atm our syncros are rooted thats why its stuffing up our gear changes. toyota wanted $2000 to fix it

if u wanna auto car, go with something like a euro or some lux car. the auto 7th gen celica sux, its extreamly slow, lift takes forever to kick in. a corolla ascent can beat a celica auto lol. but thats just my 2 cents and what do u mean by its abit of a headach what happened?

BTW remember that says 300degrees thats Fahrenheit which is aprox 150 Celsius but i think that may be too hot, another way is the heatgun like bangn used. or u could use a hairdryer i'v herd thats been done, but it takes wayy longer.

fine fine i make it more neat. buy headlight cover from toyota. buy spray tint, tint inside of headlights, slap em on. i dont think u can do this after u get ur eyelids tho :P cops will give u heaps of **** but just take it off i suppose. beter then tinting your real headlights then u cant reverse that. i saw this mod on the sp23 the red one it was awsome.

lols =x all dynos are diffrent dude ^^ but yea not badd just under 119 with 3 mods one of the members on ozcelica pulled 130fwkws with just aemcai trd zorst and pfc the rest was just gearbox mods which made him run 14flat when he was only tunned at 120 sumfin kw :D then he got a re-tune and got 130fwkws and he said he could have probally got into the 13's but then his the only celica that pulled good figures like that u guys have any rollas with a pfc?

vyets - Toyota Celica ZR 2000model - stock Danz - Toyota Celica SX 2000model - AEM gen2 CAI dryflow, Trust Axel back exhaust (i think its axel), Tuned APexi power FC BlkZR - Toyota Celica ZR 2005model - AEM gen2 CAI dryflow thats ours. the sx isnt de-tuned or anything, but we have a feeling his trust exhaust is loseing his power. :P rolla's pulling out impressive figures with justa intake :P wait till i get mine ><" btw, any rollas out there pulling over 112? like with other mods but, maybe intake+pfc or a rolla with a straight pipe running no cat :P i wanna see that
