  1. Can anyone who already has an X-Trail antenna please post up the cost?

I would imagine it wouldnt be too expensive but with Genuine parts you never know.

Petrol to drive to a nissan dealership - $5.00

Bottle of of coke to drink - $2.00

Watching your friend avoid a rent-a-cop as he is taking delivery of numerous antennas - PRICELESS! :D

  2. If your refeering to a badge like the one on my car (click on VIP sig) then it is off the older Camry Sportivo boot.

It is slightly smaller in size to the corolla one. If you do get one you will have to cut off the backing pins to fit.

They are about $4 - $10 ....unless you havea good dealer then its free ;)

  3. Yay,

a new guy like myself. I pick my Sportivo up tomorrow!

    Is there a Team Snowflake?

    I think i'm part of a minority arent I?

YAY another one to the ranks of the angelic 'White' Team of STIVOS :D :D :D

    team 'snowflake' hehehehe

  4. QUEENSLANDER  B)

nothing like a few forward pass to liven the game up  :P

Good to see that bill harrigns school of BS ref'in is continuing.

I mean honestly there are 2 aspects of the game that need to be removed

SCRUMS + Side Line Refs .........WHY??

Because they both dont do SH!3T!!!!!!

  5. Are you serious, I didn't rev the stivo past 8k until I had chalked up 3000 kms. I'd be taking it easy for the next few thousand kays just to get the motor run.

hehehe .......hahahaha...anyway (topic has been covered)

BH has valid points...you shouldnt really dump the clutch...unless you can rev match well.

  6. to access the pod filter from under neath the car it requires 3 screws n 1 clip to be removed.....very simple really  :)

to get the pod off...grab a flat head screw driver n just loosen the bolt on the bracket n just slowly pull the pod out  :D

me n shao removed ours yesterday....tho a bit of swearing was invovled during mine  :P

A pair of bent skinny nose pliers are invaluable for removing the fog light when trying to get the TRD filter out. (clamp the black plug with plyers then simply push the white plug with other hand....and she pops right out) You can get it out without removing the light...but you risk damaging the pod or light. best best is to remove the light and go from there :)

  7. thers are a couple of modifed sportivos in brisbane for sale if you dont mind a few K's on them

But if your looking for new Stivo try Ross LLewellyn's at ipswich. Both Shao and I bought our Sportivos from there and got the best prices in brisbane. (especailly if you pay cash ;) )

  8. coming into winter...time to remove the a/c and power steering ;) :P

dave ....there is 14.6 to be had there for sure...go do it :P

    14.6 wha?

yeah i know it sounds all crazy but when we actually done the job it was a phenomenal gain to the ae92 and civic. its a half day job removing those items and you have to re adjust the alternator belt.

if anyone is willing to do it to a stivo definately post it. as it is the stivo is rev happy i wonder what it'll do?

In the scheme of things on the drag strip....its a small price to pay :)
