  4. Yeah I'm racing another mate from 'Velocity Import Performance' in his Turbo'd 1JZ Soarer

I won the first race - with bad start nad lost the second - bad 1-2

This event was at what we call a test'n'tune meet which is held every week to 2 weeks at Willowbank Raceway which is to the west of brisbane as Azza pointed out.

It costs $34 to race (as many time as you can fit in from 4.30 - 9.30) and that fee also allows an extra person in the door.

    alot of fun :D

  5. hi guys,

i'm d_mn interested in getting a unichip for my new car. i'll get my car this friday,.. yahoo...

i am not very experienced with all this, so please bear with my stupidity. according to Danthuyer, this unichip could be tuned so that the engine produces more torque at lower rev, right? can you tell me what parameters need to be adjusted to achieve this and what is the optimal setting for this?

is there any difference in price between 16bit and 32bit chips?

i reckon if i paid another 1k to get 12 kw on the wheel and more torque during low rev, it's worth it, isn't it?

    thanks

Have a search around the forums and you'll find a bit of info on this topic.

basically you tune ignition timing and other settings with the chip to make the car run more efficient. this takes a few hours on a dyno machine and the end results are varied pending on who when and where you get the tune done.

32Bit chip has more tuning points from what I hear?

Its a personal choice if it is worth it....you can pay 1300$ for a set of headers and get only 5kW or you could spend similar money on a unichip and get 10kW ???

  6. for shizzeles. i'll be there in my entertaining state. possible nudity and perversion may also be present.... :D

  8. yeah there is shao,

its a tight circuit which involves starting at the entrance to milton maccas and proceeding through the crowd of habibs and their fully sik rexies then turning left onto milton road and hitting lift just before u reach the set of lights where u do a hard left then back on the gas into lift, slow for another hard left then watch the bumpy road and more habibs as u approach the entrance to the maccas again.

Or you could always negotiate the slalom course at the dat#3 carpark...the only issue is concrete poles arent too forgiving on your bodywork :(
