Humm just disconnect the battery for 5 min and that will reset ECU, also put the tyre pressure up as Terry suggests, ;) And just for the heck of it try a completely different fuel that is maybe like BP Unleaded, not Premium just to see what happens....... :D

Heya :P Hummm have you tried Premium fuel? Have you disconnected the battery to rest the ECU? how is the tyre pressure? how many Kms do you get per tank? Its strange as a mate of mine gets 8.2l/100k in his 4cyl Camry and I get more like 11L

I agree, I don’t know when its school holidays or if my clock matches the police watch, or in different areas of the city the times vary when you travel from your normal routine . If they are serious about safety Flashing lights when it’s a 40 zone is the only way to make it clear and ensure safety for children ;)

Still waitinig to hear about Headers and go for a further tune. Its economy has improved even though I have been hoofing it ! Smoother and quicker for sure with a better note. :P

Check the cables and connections, maybe a bit of CRC to help. Also check the alternator is connected correctly and working well. You can get moisture in the components if you have cleaned the engine bay. ;)

Don’t forget the cost of Pre-tensioner seat belt replacement. I think the 3 month old golf was 1500 for Drivers airbag, 2500 for the passenger and $900 for the replacement of the seatbelt and pre-tensioner.....then there was the damage. I would never buy a car without airbags again. :P

OK here is the dyno graph and the pictures of cold air intake. Not sure what the graph means but its stage one and the next graph will show the improvements (extractors and timing adjusted)

I guess my last fine was defined as going the wrong way down a one-way street. What I did was cross over a 1 way street (from Mobray terrace in East Brisbane) to get to an opposite road. As I was going at a 47 degree angle not a 45 degree angle it was deemed that I was going down a one way street ! Aww they a few cars there and that’s all they were getting people for. I think it is more dangerous to travel down the 5 skinny back streets to get to the same place. Since moving to WA I am amazed that lanes on the freeway just disappeared. And people don’t merge one for one al the time, that really, super frustrating but once again not policed. Instant driver training course for these people. Also in the Army apparently you need a special licence for a 4x4…. Just food for thought :) Think I have given 5c worth now ;)

The current system is flawed so I don’t want any more on this sort of thing. I think getting people who don’t indicate can't use roundabouts, tailgate and other such things are areas that need attention. Also some flashing lights when its a school zone would show they are serious not about saving lives not make more money. I say this as my car was written off when shunted into a truck by poor driving (the driver that did it to me was doing under 25km/h). When I see a P plater in WA not indicate in a worked WRX speeding while on a mobile ....... Anyways I have had my say B)

15hp at the hub Err so not sure what that means. That is on top of whatever the CAI and Sportivo muffler gave me. But its on its way to more. I really want to boost the Torque up (with timing and headers) then give it a run down the 1/4 mile. At least I have a base to go on. :P Photos on the way....... (lots of construction work next door so my car is beyond filthy)

I have had my tune and CAI done. And Greedy emanger put in. The car is smoother for sure, quicker too although as there is not such a kick in the guts as before it does not feel quicker. He has adjusted the fuel but not the timing curve yet. He suggests tuned extractors for low down torque and then retune with these on and timing. The timing will also give more torque. ;) It’s a lot better to drive on the freeway at slow speeds, less jerky I miss the kick in the guts but it’s a much more civilized beast and the speed does rise rapidly. :P

There is a 31 in Brisbane and Perth. Not sure how related they are
