Today's been a big day of ups and downs. :(

Didn't get to go to the meet on Sunday either. :(

So yeah, day started off great, then got into a tiff with my boss at work (oops), then the aurion lost its passenger side front wheel courtesy of myself and my failure to apply the park brake when changing a freakin' tyre. (gg)

But all is well now, and the car isn't damaged :D

I'll have to defer to Nathan for that one - he should have a couple of night shots of the car before the LED's went in as well :) Heheheh the LED's are sooooo bright at night, Barb was following me back from the car wash and we had to stop at a red light, when I had the brakes on it illuminated her front cabin!!

(Posting from Warringal Private Hospital at the moment. I'm here for observation, I may have appendix issues but they can't seem to figure it out yet. That'd be right.)

Yeah it's definitely white, my iPhone makes it look blue for some reason, shame I can't show you tomorrow as it's impossible to see in the day, oh well I just ordered blue t5's off eBay today, I'll be changing the lights for the ashtray, this, the p r d n light and the electric window "auto" light then that should be the interior lighting finished, then I can work on getting zr6 leather seats... I'll ninja them out of nathans car when he isn't looking

Personally I wouldn't bother with the Leather ZR6 seats, they look good, and that's about it.

They're hard, they're flimsy, nuff said.

No I didn't say i'd swap them. I couldn't live without electric seats etc. It's just the drivers side seems to be a bit shoddy as of late, probably doesn't help i'm a big lad. :P

benji and I went and checked it all out again last night and it looks good, the one nasty patch we had a bit of trouble with has settled but is still not brilliant, definitely passable though (for lowered cars as well) and there'll be plenty of warning to slow right down to go over it :)

The trick is to shoot the ground just in front of someone else's tyre, causing them to spin and you being able to overtake

Go Karting is awesome fun - although the track here is quite small compared to what the Melbourne guys will be used to, but its still lots of fun, and the weather will be warm enough for them to have their outdoor section open :D

When I went up there for the recon run a few weeks back. I hardly had any issues with swarms, but i'm not sure how it's changed now.

I might be up for a go-karting sesh, Shamelessly I've never been before...

And to everyone, please bring a car with sufficient fuel... I've been on cruises in the past with a euro club that people tend to not think about that, then everyone has to wait for them...

benji, finally spotted one of your earlier spots! The white Camry Rich-06 was out at Lake Weeroona Sat morning, doesn't look too bad but I dunno about the high-rise spoiler on the Gen 6's, doesn't seem quite right like it did on a Gen 5 *shrugs* I reckon he's the only car I've seen with one of Toyota's other wheel choices on it (other than Kappas!).

You know what I miss my Kapps wheels... I really do. :P

Very interesting reading overall - this is probably one of the next things on my list, getting the front strut and rear sway. I don't mind a bit of spirited cornering heheh, especially on our cruises!

Seems like the best combo for the Camry would be to stick to the 19mm rear sway then, just looking on the Ultra Racing website now and it's the only choice available anyway. Definitely a price increase though, $218 now for the front strut and $323 for the rear sway, plus $17 postage for each item.

Seeings the thread has been revived could we maybe get a group buy going? Try and get a bit of a discount heheh

You can have my old rear sway bar. I'll get the new one and everyone will see my epic oversteer and then i'll be a member of the Guni 'Oversteer is Bad mmkay?' Club. :P

Okay jokes aside. I am interested in the upgraded rear sway bar. However right now the car seems to have an....okay balance. But I don't drive near as hard as Daryl does, so he might need it more than I would. :P

I'd also be interested in a group buy if we could get it a little cheaper. Be doing both the front and rear :D Quite interesting article about the FWD spin.

Actually no, surprisingly you should be producing 17 more killer wasps with blue as blue matches in with the cars colour. The subtlety attracts a few more wasps into the mix ;) Just not as much as red

That's not too bad, you can hear a bit more sound out of the stock mufflers. Now with my Supercat mufflers and if I remove the resonator in the middle as well. I wonder how that would go. :P I wonder how much extra drone i'd get.

Lol, I never said that you said it was any good Nathan, that was just my opinion. It is about the 5th other gold Camry I've seen, two in Melbourne, one in a car park in Mildura, and two here that I think were just visiting. So it's not as uncommon as I'd like it to be! Oh, and I've seen one travelling on the Calder when I was going southbound and it northbound.

OMG, the straight pipes is the sound I'm after :D What sort of system was it? I'll see if I can withstand the drone, and I can't believe I didn't get to hear the beast roar when we did the recon run

It's not 'a system'...

It's just the two rear mufflers removed, replaced with some straight pipe, bent in the right way to fit the flange with two tips welded on.

That's it.

Also on another note, I'm getting the resonator removed tomorrow arvo, I'm kinda unsure of how this will turn out, some cars sound amazing without the res, some sound horrible... Will post a vid of the before/after res delete sound, cheers

Sunbury Performance and Exhaust, they did my brakes and suspension for my bmw, they do a top job, so i'd always go with them

That the one on the corner of the roundabout with IGA on the other side of the roundabout? If that's the one that's where I got my rear mufflers done. They also did my old corolla.

I was talking to the guy in there, he actually mentioned he rarely see's Aurions come in, he did mention doing a muffler swap to "Supercats" or something like that, then the customer came back and got them changed over to another performance muffler because they didn't like the drone... Was that you by any chance?

At least I know if I see your car rolling through Sunbury, I'll have to wind down my windows and have a listen, how much did the supercats set you back? Wouldn't happen to have a soundclip by any chance, I'm liking the Varex ones, but I can't seem to justify spending so much

I spotted the Black Touring on the way home from soccer training again. I've deduced it lives in Kangaroo Flat. Also spotted the black corolla (i think) with pink number plates of DOTTEE on the way to training tonight. Doubt either are on here.

If you watch video 6 of the recon run, you'll find that same Corolla next to us at a set of lights. :D

Pfft, that other gold Camry in Bendigo doesn't even rate, filthy, stock as a rock and just the typical indian family driving it. Just another unappreciated auto Camry on the road! I do however see two green Camry Sportivo's cruising around Bendigo, one with dark green personalised plates.

I never said it was any good. I'm just stating it was gold and seeing a Gold Camry in general is a rare sight! Other than that it's utterly useless.
