  1. Just curious to know, dunno if any of you know but.... what is the type of material that the standard front bar/ rear bumper bar is made of? Is it a form of Poly vinyal chloride (pvc), unplasticized poly vinyal choride (upvc), polypropylene (PP-r), polybuttlene (PE),.. cheers lol if ur curious to know why i know what they are? well im a plumber :P
  2. on tue occasions after a good boot down the highway ive been pulled up by other motorist at the lights and they have imformed me of red hot (glowing)/exhaust ... anyone else ever experienced this after a good thrashing around? I knew it was quite possible whislt doing burnout as there is no air circulating around to cool it down but whilst sitting on 80 plus mainly in lift :P anyways... let me know :P
  3. I got 116.5 with CAI, exhaust system, 98 octane fuel and a bottle of octane boost.. an extra 5 kw isnt resonable........ had alot of disputes when i posted my results.
  4. No lsd im aware of but figure this, when ever i rip a burnout i get both fronts evenly smoking regardless of weight distribution, turning left and or right...... she still smokes both Lucky i guess?
  5. awesome to hear =) I was quoted 8 to do the 2zzge from rigoli (turbo, exhaust, turbo exhast manifold, computer, tuning, dyno) grim lock, influx, tiger and i are close to u we should all go for a run =)

  13. not as boring as mine... i dig holes and put copper in and then backfil.. :P
  14. well, yes but its also consealed. less heat in the box itself so to speak and the stock setup has a induction pipe leading to the back of the headlight. therefore the original setup shouldnt get a great deal of hot air, probably more lukewarm then hot air from the engine
  15. hmmm i got trd cai and mine is loud as! usually hear it over my exhaust. personally would have got the step into getting the trd cai even if u used a apexi filter.. but each to their own wouldnt be suprised if u noticed power loss with that setup, constantly sucking in hot air...... might wanna invest in some 100mm air conditioning duct...
  16. having said all this, possibly a good time for removal of CAI and other mods?!?

  21. im familiar with installing them but due to warranty and stuff im not game enough to stuff around with it.. joining the wires: any ways of conneting it and easy ways of disconnecting it?!?! was thinking of stripping a section of the insulation and twisting the wire into it, but any toyota technician is going to notice the slice in the wire and put two and two together... -mike
