  3. hahah mee tooo :o but i was there in 1999 towards the end of the year for 3 months when i first came to Australia so I only knew "sorry i dont speak english". Thanks JVN11: glad to be part of it :)
  4. I went into the BSA factory in Peakhurst, Sydney today and had a look at the AU-347 wheels. They only had 18x7.5 in stock and when put next to my car they looked pretty good (size wise) but if they were 17s they would look fairly small. I read a few threads saying that 18s on king lows is perfect. My plan was to get king lows anyways but now I am in the dilemma of whether to go 17x7s or 18x7.5s (very confusion). Any suggestions from experience: 17x7 wrapped in 215/45/17 18x7.5 wrapped in ??? All help appreciated ps i also came past these: 17x7 and 18x87.5 Katana, Ninja and i really like goodboyz' 18s but can not find the brand: http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...showtopic=10651
  5. Yeh I have been actually. Looking forward to door sills and perhaps eye lids. Don't wanna go to far with modding it up but just can't help my self at times. Just gotta get more people involved in the group buy especially the newbies like myself. Thanks TOCAU :) and about Melbourne Storm hmmm i dono mate :P I'm impressed by The Dragons this year, I mean everyone would be. I've only been in Aus for 9 years and been living in this area since then and not knowing much about NRL upon my arrival I thought it'd be fair if I supported them so here I am 9 years later.. loyal? lol Nahh but go Chelsea tonight, FA cup final, that's where the game is.. and bad luck to Man U. suckeerrssss lol Serge
  6. Soz it took me a while to sort out shizzle for sills. I'm in :) Here's the list so far: 1. azzman372 2. 123r-prozak. Aka daniel 3. MrCrazyRolla (blue) (Sunshine Coast) -- willing to pick up from goldy. 4. Corolla.au 5. Sergio - Red - Sydney 6. 7. 8. 9. 10 I will also most likely be in for the front eyelids :) depending on how the group buy goes.. Thanks, ps. Good stuff on the effort Evo. I see your really active on the forum, like it! Serge
  7. Thank you for your welcome YURO! I haven't had a chance to take the car out for a solid run let alone clean it, or do anything else to it. But I took it for a little test drive around sum bends and must say I'm reallyy happy with it as it does quiet well as an auto with O/D off. It has steelies on atm, I didn't even have a look what rubber yet but it does ok around the corners. Overall, impressed and glad I have gone to purchase such a car and am really looking forward to a nice Stivo within the next couple of years. I have already ordered and am in the process of ordering some necessary accessories and few other things for the car but none of it will go in/on it until late June. I will try get a photo up of its current state this w/e. Thanks, Serge
  8. Goodboyz I tried looking for the 18" Inove wheels you had on your car but the name doesn't correspond with anything. Do you know the name I can search, to find them in Aus? Thanks, Serge
  9. I couldn't find them with that name in Australia. Although I think I saw some similar ones to them. My car is black but yes I would agree with your about the wheels contrasting. Hence the machined face colour would be suitable. Thanks for your opinion.
  10. Hi everyone, new member Serge! (see intro). Thought I'd jump into this threat instead of making up a new one since its a similar topic. I am not looking for light-weight wheels as the car I have is a BLACK Corolla ascent 06 model (auto).. So no performance there just to add a bit of a look to the car - hub cups are pretty stylish but decided to go with 17x7 wheels instead :) Like the spokes (euro look) so was looking at something such as below. The kuro's are sold at Tempe but depending on their price will get just the wheels there (no fitting/tyre) as my previous services I had done by them weren't all that great. Would appreciate any sort of input or suggestions of wheels that you recommend. 1. Kuro Throttle 17x7 Machined Black / Red Pinstripe: 2. BSA AU-347 17x7 Machined Face (off-set 40. would that matter compare to stock +45)
  11. Has anyone actually bought one of these or has it been discussed on the forum for a corolla 06 model or older? I found a similar product on the forum but placed in a camry. It's resolution isn't that great when compared to the branded car DVD player screens but it has the advantage of all in one and it does look simple (no attraction).
  12. Hey peoples, I am new to the forum (see intro thread) wouldn't mind some of these fully sik things lol Will confirm by tonight or tomorrow morning. Thanks, Serge
  13. Once upon a time there was a guy by the name of Serge who fell in love with a Mazda 3, as his budget was a bit too low for a decent mazda 3, with low km's, one lady owner and the most 4 years old (he did find some but something was always suspicious) he settled for a corolla. Prob shouldn't say such thing on a toyota forum but yes it was a second choice. Initially started off with a Sportivo which would of been just as good as a mazda 3, heck, better!! but due to some complicated situation he had to get an AUTOO <_< Getting an auto meant didn't bother me if it was even an ascent.. so he bought a BLACK 2006 Toyota Corolla Ascent, 47 000km, one lady owner, surprise surprise.. it does at least have power front windows, score!! and thats my story! My name is Serge and am from Sydney (St George area) Go the Dragons!! am almost 21 and studying Civil Engineering at UTS yew!.. already had KEN33F finding out that i'm from UTS and he has seen me around, just from one post that i have made earlier on. So if there are more of you would be glad to meet you. Yes it is the ascent for now but upon my hopefully successful graduation I am pretty keen for a Stivo or perhaps that Mazda 3 :D nevertheless i think corollas are crazy, indestructible, reliable and am excited having one. My previous ride was a n15 pulsar from which I upgraded. I have been browsing the site secretly and am impressed by some of the information that is on here. At the moment pretty tied up with uni obligation but those holidays are around the corner so it'll give me an opportunity to get involved and fix my corolla up a bit. Nothing major obviously but just can't help my self but doin something to it. Probably won't touch it till the uni break. It definitely needs a good polish as it is a black car grrrrr so that's one of the 1st things.. actually wouldn't mind getting sum corollas floor mats before anything as it cam with the ripped rubber ones. Anyways hope my stay here is pleasant and brings good to both, you guys and myself. Peace!! Serge
  14. Welcome mate You can buy these on ebay where you can find other styles of taillights. cheers Interesting.. i performed a blank search under the toyota corolla accessories catagory and nutting came up. But now i put in corolla tail lights and walla.. they're there lol. embarrassing. Thank you though
  15. Hey all, My name is Serge and I am new to this forum as I have just purchased a Corolla.. Been browsing the forum and found some really good posts. Just a questions relating this post though, where in Australia, Sydney or even online would I be able to find these tail lights? Looking forward to spending my time on the forum and contributing to the discussions etc. Thanks, Serge
