  1. I havent posted in here for ages but Im pretty excited that im getting some work tomorrow I thought I'd post a pic of how it looks now then stay tuned for 1 or 2 days time coz its getting 18s and super lows. So far my 2003 Conquest has the following minor things done to it - levin front grill, tints, altezza shadow chrome tail lights (altho i've taken these off and might be selling them soon if they dont suit the new rims), mud flaps and badges removed. Rims and drop job should almost complete as far as im going with this, altho i'd love to get my hands on a sportivo/levin kit for it but only at the right price.
  2. I rectum it because it am the mostest awesumest car around. Sorry just had an urge to post some really bad use of the english language.
  3. I've been watching that ad on Ebay. Did actually originally say 2004 corolla. Guy must've changed the ad.
  4. Man chrome badges dont make your car heaps chrome. Its like me putting a shirt on that has boobs on the front and calling myself a woman. If you want the be the most chromed u need to chrome your door handles, around your windows, your mirrors, get a kit with chrome inserts and maybe some nice chrome vents in your bonnet. This ofcourse added to the biggest chrome wheels u can fit into your wheel arches. And if you wanna go all out chromed engine bay. Then you will truely be chrome-worthy.
  5. The thing with doing up a car is that fads come and go. Remember the bigger the rear wing was, the better. Excels driving around with supra rear spoilers and stuff. Just one of many things to do to a car that sounds good at the time but then 6 months latter u look like a twit. The only thing than wont go out of fashion is the smooth, simple look. Simplicity makes it beautiful. Badges make a car look too complex. Its the same as colour coding. Makes the car look more simple, hence beautiful. My advise if get rid of all badges. And if your budget allows it shave the door handles, blinkers, etc. Then all you have to do is update your rims and grill every few years and you have a car that is forever cool.
  6. sounds like some people dont have the mad skills to remove their badges so they pretend to like them :P :P :P
  7. *checks blue_rolla's previous purchases on ebay* Thats a funny looking 12 inch massager you bought.
  8. I have removed all badges on my conquest. For all of them I used the same method. I started with the seca and got carried away and before I knew it there was only the toyota symbol left. Here is the method if you are trying it yourself: 1. Wait for a hot day and park it in the sun for a while. 2. Run dental floss inbetween the paint and the badge in a sawing motion. No this will not damage you paint! 3. Carefully remove any left over double sided tape with ur finger nails. 4. Polish to remove shadowing. 5. Polish to remove shadowing. 6. Polish to remove shadowing. Norman polish got it done fine for me. No special cutting compound required. Cant even tell where they were. Beautiful! Free mods are the best mods!
  9. Whoever started bidding on that was a bit silly. I seen it originally was 30 starting bid or $100 buy it now. It obviously takes away the buy it now after a point. But I suppose its still a bargain. Shame you didnt have a white rolla then it would've been super value!
  10. those chrome spinner hub caps rule! but you have to pull off the 15 inch rims and put 13s on first! and night-rider number plate lights when you put the brakes on. They are cool! And nothing says P-I-M-P like tweety bird seat covers!
