  1. Thanks! I got a few pms regarding my gauges lol. Here's a teaser for you guys... BMW M3 Laguna Seca Blue with a blacked out roof... I'll have the car back early next week :)
  2. Don't do a DIY shortshifter lol. Your car is a 2004 Camry, 2AZ-FE. You can put in the short throw shifter from the Scion TC. Megan, TRD, DR ISO, NST makes short throw shifters that you can adapt to your car. My friend put on the TC short shifter onto his 2008 Camry.
  3. Thank you guys for the comments. I really do have to thank Gene. He was the innovator, and I do wish he can go to Australia and start turboing cars lol. The tinted headlights are quite easy. You just bake the headlights in an oven and pry it open. Primer twice. Paint twice. Clearcoat three times :) Taillights are a PAIN IN THE *****. You need a heatgun/hair dryer. Then you have to basically melt the vinyl/tint onto the taillight... Not fun. Wait two weeks. I have a surprise for you guys :)
  4. I gotta admit, I do miss my old rim setup. but I got pulled over so much w/ that lol. My new setup, I took off all my tint and went with a more sleeper look. Even changed out my HKS exhaust for a vibrant 3' straight through flat black muffler. No cops!
  5. Good question lolll. I ask my girlfriend to turn it on ahhahaha. Or I open it to turn it on. But its a pain in the butt to do this, especially when you're in a full bucket seat. I can't even check my blind spots anymore, so I have the concave circular mirrors to check my blind spot now :)
  6. lol I would never ghost ride. I'm too scared that my car will get messed up or somebody will just hop in a drive away haha
  7. Thank you! You wouldn't believe the number of people on toyotanation here in the US that would kill to have an Aurion over the Camry lol
  8. holy crap your car is dumped lol. I like it! I use to be dumped like you... But it just got too crazy going in and out of places lol
  9. Hehe..welcome aboard. I am getting of the track anyway. :P I bought IS250. ;) I approve :)
  10. +1. Here in the US, they're called Dyno jets. Theres actually a dyno called the mustang dyno here in the US. Mustang dyno actually calculates road conditions into the readings.. crazy!
  11. ?!?!!? I JUST REGISTERED AND GOT HERE!!!! COME BACK! :( What new car did you get? :)
  12. Yeahh. Its the dynapack dyno, bolting directly to the hub. it eliminates any road interference to get a direct to the wheelHP/torque reading. And the one blowing fire is my friends lol. Strangely, my automatic turbo backfires a lot more than his standard/manual turbo.
  13. It is an external wastegate... lol And yeah, it sounds nuts. All you hear is just a rushing air. It sounds like a jet haha
  14. What a nice thing to say.... Here in the states.. Any kind of aurion is looked upon like a Holy Shrine.
  15. not really diggin the rims... Its going to be SUPER hard to clean lol. Multispoke ftw! Those remind me of the Tenzos. Now the Tenzos i like! Reason why this looks better than the previous rims is because these rims have concavity.
  16. lolol. I have a HUGE surprise for you coming soon DJ :) I get my car back in 2 weeks, and its going to be... Crazy... I remember when I was getting my car tuned a month ago. it was so hilarious... So I guess it was a DynoDay for the S2000s. There were about ten S2Ks there all doing pulls on the dyno. When I brought my camry in, they all started laughing at me. Then the owner of the shop looked at them and said, you don't know what camry. The dynoshop owner then popped my hood, and all the S2k people shut up lol. Even my first baseline pull made more torque and HP then their modified S2ks lol. One s2k owner spent 3 thousand dollars on full mandrel exhaust system, headers, and intake. He lost 7WHP at the dyno LOLLL!!! He almost cried!
  17. the ECU will cost a lot of money... But man.. that S/C is a steal... good luck with your sale
  18. I see so many more mods available to Australia that are adaptable to the US camry. I'm hoping to learn a thing or two from you :)
  19. Turbo is 10x better than supercharger when it comes to making power. I'm making 276WHP, 299wtorque at just 9.5PSI. No supercharger for the TC can even touch those numbers. My friend was running 299WHP, 344Wtorque in his camry. Turbo is a lot more complicated than most people think on the 2AZ... One of the most important things about the turbokit is the wastegate. You do not skimp out on that. Even if you do get your hands on a good system, rest assured, its going to cost you a gang of money. First of all, you need to do custom work on your engine block. This means that you're going to have to actually shave your engine block to get the TC turbo manifold to fit. This is enough to make any professional cringe lol. And make sure your turbo manifold is of good quality also, one of my friend's manifold just cracked. Cheapo. After this, even though the kit fits a scion perfectly, it doesn't fit the camry. So you're going to have to do custom work for your IC piping. This is either moderately hard to very hard. You're going to have to fabricate your own intake, whether its SRI or CAI. Maf sensors etc etc. You'll also need an aftermarket ECU. This ECU can range from 1,000 dollars to 2,000 dollars USD. I have the AEM piggyback system. If you do get this ECU, you'll have to do the resistor mod on it. This is by far the most popular ECU for the 2AZ, but resistor mod must be done to get your car runnning smoothly. Then you're going to have to go to your exhaust shop to fabricate your downpipe and all your turbo piping. Along with your exhaust piping, the shop will charge you anywhere from 500-700 USD dollars for a full mandrel bent system. The price of that turbokit definitely does not reflect how much itll cost in real life. Turbokit + piping + ECU + dyno and tune. Dynotune alone is around 500-600 USD dollars lol. You must get it tuned to have your car run properly and even safely. And all your gauges and other accessories... Extra $$ In my Gen6 and my friend's, we actually had to delete our windshield wiper fluid. Theres no space for the IC piping! We also have to shave the front bumper support to make space for the intercooler lol. Brand named wastegate and a good quality turbo. Go with a MANUAL boost controller, not electric! I guarantee you, 100% of my friends electric boost controllers have spiked before. Spiking: Say you set your boost to 5psi. Out of the blue, your wastegate wil spike to 30PSI for a split second under load. This means for a split second, you'll go 30psi.... Not good for your car. Many cars have blown their turbos/motors this way. Go with a manual boost controller, just your standard wategate with a psi spring. After you get a quality kit, just remember its a lot of custom work... But if do decide to go through with it, you're gonna love your car more than you love your own mother lol.
  20. If you boost, auto has great advantages. Just think about this... Your car keeps accelerating WHILE it shifts. So you don't have a break in boost, so you don't get lag! Its just a constant rush of power. Its quite exhilarating.. Of course Manual has its advantages in driver involvement. Its all due to driver's preference to be honest. W/ the money to do the tranny swap, i'd just save a bit more and go turbo.
