  2. haha well he means 9th Generation Corollas... so u count :P but if we had 9 set members, that would be sweet

  4. Don't worry, i got a nice pair of Jugs for you!
  5. the cross member is at the front of the car. that is a brace for the rear of the car therefore it is not a 'cross member brace' at all
  6. i'm leading the cruise!! wooooo
  7. hmm good point... i think this thread will just go on and on if we dont set a time... maybe we should pick a sat or sun thats a couple of weeks away, so that people can arrange to be free that day... thoughts??
  8. Rob, as you seem to have designated yourself as the organiser i demand a date and time for said BBQ
  9. geez mate for the last time do a search u cant buy the JDM lights in melbourne because they are from Japan, (ie JDM) they arent sold in australia otherwise they would be AUDM obviously. ebay, yahoo auction and other jap sites are your best bet
  10. Shouldn't less power equate to less torque due to the power formula? But I have never used or seen a hub dyno so I can't speak from experience. I hope this thread isn't going to turn into another one of those "dyno" threads. mm but im not referring to power formula and all that, all i mean is that a hub dyno doesnt get an accurate torque reading, but the power reading is reasonable. Doesnt anyone else remember the 1ZZ dyno print out that said 75ish fwkw, and something like 500nm of torque? and then there was my mate who saw a dyno print out of his dad's new Monaro (when they first came out) that said it had 700nm of torque!! Standard!! he told us that he could put it in 6th on a steep hill and take his foot off the clutch and the car will pull itself up! we made him try it... hahhahahahah fun times. But yes... dyno convo ends... NOW
  11. really?? i've always found that the hub dyno's read a lower KW figure but a much higher torque figure... interesting
  12. hmm interesting... will have to look in to that... i thought only the Evans car was at the Melbourne Motor show... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
  13. take it back to the audio installer??? obviously they fcuked up, shouldnt they fix it for u? save u the money you'll fork out for an auto electrician... expect to pay in the hundreds for a good auto electrician
  14. I now officially hate u Pete but if u are selling parts... PM me :P
  15. i'm pretty sure (100% sure) that the car simply says 'Bates' and 'Taylor' BTW - no PM's for me :(
  16. haha dont stress too much... rob is strange... u just have to get used to him..
  17. Rob, that'll be a little more realistic if you could spell 'Neal Bates' correctly :P
  18. try to source a sportivo catback and leave the headers alone, too expensive for the gain you will get
  19. MT

    Big mistake

just pick up bottles of Dexron III or IV, from any servo or autobarn, supercheap etc dont worry, i did the same thing on my celica when i was 17
  20. i would think that they might detune the engine. And sorry Rav4 is not 1300kg its more like 1550 - 1600, much similar to an Aurion i would think
  21. I love that video, even though its been posted before Carlo however, i love all the experts comments 'Who would put an S2000 engine in a corolla, bloody toyota idiots realise their engines are sh!t so they go with Honda power" "hey d*ckhead.... S2000 is a rally category, not an engine"
  22. u must be blind! dont ruin the evo's name by comparing it to a commonwhore!!! Evo IX is love. absolutely perfect car. cept for the crummy interior (barring the recaro's which are perfect) so nice to drive, almost effortless to go fast. turning circle... well... lets just say its similar to the QE2
  23. all 1ZZ rollas can use the same headers. and no need for custom, there are plenty of people who make em. PM Blue_Rolla, he has a pretty wicked headers/exhaust setup on his rolla
