Depends what year model hilux you have? I own a 2006 SR, with a 3 inch lift im comfortably fitting 265x70 on 16x8 rims with 0 offset, any bigger and it would be fouling on the UCA's...older models, like the 95 model hilux (live axle) will run 33's with a 2 inch lift

In QLD cops cant look in your glovebox if it has a lock on it without a warrant, isnt that the ruling? (just for my info) In any case, my gps tells me where the fixed speed cameras and red light cameras are so i generally stay good when i see it appear on my gps unit...it would be handy to know where the evil knievel's are hiding - but more often than not im some how not speeding when ever i do pass one, so i guess it wouldnt be worth risking a massive fine when they do find a detector detector?

Haha its easier to just buy another car thats not a celica, believe me - extensive work with and around celicas has proven to be more painful than what its worth, i gave the idea of celicas away after my third one...housemate gave the idea away after 5 celicas and he currently still owns 2 LOL But, anyhow, best of luck lol :)

Oh and yeah if anyone was wanting to know, lots of info on newhilux.net regarding performance chips from companies like VMN or ChipIt...have proven to give 30 - 40% more power and torque...there are some problems depending on what year / month model your hilux was made but in general they are very good! How good are 4WD's :D

I have a 2006 SR Turbo Diesel Hilux, got about 144 000 km up on the clock...from full to empty I have been getting up around the 650km mark...thats with city and high way driving - and not light footed either :P Also i have a beaudesert exhaust which helps a bit too Couldnt be happier with the diesel!

Hi my names Kevin and i have given up my gtfour to the heavy footed Mick lol As sad as I am about relinquishing ownership of it, Im comforted by the fact that it wont (intentionally) go over gutters and round abouts and over small trees like the hilux :P Four-bee :D --------------------------------- For now a line and a fake signature will do, until i learn how to make one, and until someone can make me one of those animated pictures of a hilux :)

Mick a G series head is a stronger, better flowing head too isnt it? And is a direct bolt on to the 5S block? Isnt that one of the reasons we are bolting a G head onto your 5S? :) With a port and polish, a shave and a re-kit, you may be able to drag a few extra kW out! Use the 5S block so you have that extra 0.2L - and lots more torque! Also, is there a better / bigger throttle body that could be bolted on? And slightly larger injectors? Theres really not much else for a N/A engine hey :(

Hi good people Am chasing a CT20b for my 185...ct26 isnt going to have enough guts for what im interesting in targeting and apparently ct20b does! and its a direct bolt on! so yeah, iv seen them for quite high prices, kind of hoping to try and find a bargain.. also wanting a sunroof, to make it unique! there has been a couple around in spare parts section, but yeah...if there are any out there id be interested! id also be interested in digital boost controller, FMIC piping kit, after market ECU, BOV, H4 HiD kit.. or anything aftermarket for a 185 - im literally starting from scratch! any suggestions or ideas for the 185? just want it to be as stand out as possible when its in a crowd, so if theres anyways that will help me achieve this - let em rip! :) cheers k_san
