Lithium-powered super car's April launch

Hybrid Technologies will start taking orders for its lithium-powered super car with a maximum speed of about 290kph - nearly the same level as that of Japanese bullet trains - in April in the United States.
The electric vehicle, Lithium Carbon Fiber Super Car, is expected to retail at $US124,900 ($A169,000), the company said in a statement.
With a single six-hour charge, the emission-free two-seater is capable of running 160km with a top speed of around 290kph, it said, adding the vehicle can also attain a speed of 97kph in just over three seconds.
The vehicle will be unveiled to the public at the New York International Auto Show in April.
Hybrid Technologies is considering selling the vehicle in Japan as well in view of the strong popularity of hybrid vehicles there, it said.
Major Japanese automakers, including Nissan Motor Co, are showing interest in the lithium-powered super car, the company added.

Guys, you have to admit, that photochop looks good. I am so going to do it like that. No No for 19's. I say 18's.
Its true..it does look pretty good......but is having the car that low really pratical??

Yeah the height of the arches are an issue to make them look as though they are 'filled'.
Needs 19's to fill them properly.

Mine is dropped 2 inches all round, full load in the car, and the back looks sweet. Just loves scraping on everything when you do it though. :(

airbags = airbag suspension :) ride height adjustable with electronic controls.

looks good. I just lowered my rolla recently. lowered 45mm front and 50mm rear. The height was ok, until i had to carry 3 ppl in the rear. Then the guard is just slightly lower than the tyre. Not good at all. So i had the car raise dby 10mm.
Anyway, the pic below is how the car looked when it was first lowered. I haven't taken pic of how it look like now.

stivo has ABS and break assist
mm..more ppl = more weight = more stress on ABS and brake assist...mm....TOYOTA..we need better brakes.........

I don't know whats the difference in brake btw the 1zz and the stivo. But i do find with my 1zz, if i have a full car of blokes it does take more effort to stop the car (and thats just normal driving). Which makes sense i guess. More weight, more inertia hence car is harder to stop.

Lucky you are ok. Yea driving in the rain is quite dangerous. A friend of mine died last year when the car he was in lost control in the rain. So dangerous....
