  1. Thanks Clifton! :yahoo:

So as promised, I have now ported and polished my headers (extractors) and the it was fantastic. Improved torque, less revy in stop-go traffic. Overall great success.

Also had some spare time while waiting for the header to go in... so in goes the cable shifter bushing. Also fantastic, literally sh*ts all over the stock ones, and with short shifter, I think it's brilliant.

So today, I went and got another dyno to see how much power I've gained since last dyno.

    What can I say... Ported & polished header = +4.3kW & + 5.8Nm (plus minus the variables)

    Very happy with the result...

Stay tuned for the next part...

  2. I've tried looking around for a thread about F1 Racing clutch and flywheels, but obviously I've been unsuccessful. <_<

Anyway, I was looking around for a new set of clutch and flywheel when I came across the F1 Racing products. There's both Stage 1 and Stage 2, which confused me?

That's a pretty damn good price, so I guess I'm to assume they are **** compared to MWR, Fidanza, Exedy, Xtreme etc.? Any opinions?

EDIT: Also came across these. Any thoughts?

  3. I believe the fuse for your interior dome light sits in the fuse box next to the glovebox which you must remove. There is a series of fuses in there so you'd just have to pull them out individually and see if the "metallic connection" is still intact.Whichever one isn't intact must be the one blown and there's a number for the amp shown at the back of the fuse (5, 10, 15 etc.) go buy a pack and just replace it.

  4. Koni Sport yellows for 250 front and 200 rear, so your KYB prices sound about right? ish?...*shrugs shoulders and wonders whether he can afford to save for Koni's...*

$250/$200 for 1 or a set? If it's for each, that's $900 for all four?

Sounds about right for a dirty fellow.

    dirty? :huh::wacko:

I think he meant used.

  5. Spotted A Rice parked at Broadway. How did you find the ramps on the way down?

pretty good i can still take them at a good speed ;)

The ramp going up is a bigger b*tch.

The biggest bitch is when it's going down from the upper level.. No way to avoid it. Took a good scrub to my front bumper.

I come pretty close to scrubbing both going up and coming down. But usually I make it with the missus, don't know about 1+ passengers. The thing is, there's no room for me to angle the vehicle up or down on the slopes.

This is the dyno sheet in comparison to Aaron's Stivo (with TRD CAI), my sheet is behind it so I guess you can make out a bit of the outline to see the difference for Stivos with just TRD CAI vs. Apexi SRI. Of course take in to account the other variables. This is just a rough comparison. Enjoy.
