Lol to say all pioneer has alternator whine from a couple of cases is a bit ... Have you using a new rca cable yet? Run it crudely in the car through the ski port if amp is in the boot and see if you got the whine still. Next option is to get a friend with a system that is easy to get to, and test it in his car. Make sure he doesnt have any alt whine first though. I'd say its an amp issue.
I had a Pioneer MVH-8250BT which I returned (cause it didn't do what it said it would do, but still picked up the piece of ship headunit you've heard me whinge about) but it suffered the same problem.
Going by the 2 other guys in this thread, I'd say that pretty much guarantees that all Pioneer headunits suffer from alternator whine.

Oh. Also, why would you be a d-ickhead and beep at a cyclist for being on the road?
-
Hard to tell how it sounds from the vid.
Dyno will be key.
-
You can buy the service/repair manual for about $150 from Toyota.
-
Not me. Gongride beckons!
Will be in next week.

Nice.
My favourite mods are: the ultra dark tint and the HIDs in reflector lenses.

Glad to see how mature you are about this "bwhahahahahahahaa *breathe* hahahaha" like come on are you six or something ?
and back to the topic. i said you can do it yourself i didn't guarantee that it will flash tune a TRD..
Though it will increase in Kw/ Hp but not by a lot..
Your stupidity is hilarious. He has every right to laugh.
That piece of junk item won't even flash an Aurion, let alone a TRD.
-
Yes...BUT, what are you going to tune it with?
-
eventually will lower it :P spent too much money on this $3000 car.
have NST pulley coming from the US. after that, have a be a tight ***** for a while. :(
The one that removes the harmonic balancer and gives you 3/10 of bugger all performance gains?
-
but this make "broom broom" go slower
However, if it were on a supercharged vehicle on a track it would go:
broom broom, corner, brake, corner exit, *choo choo choo*
Go slower yes, but overall faster!

Try searching the us forums at toyota nation see if they got it there
The US did not get a GTP styled grille.

I'm more in than One Direction.
-
Yeah that went for way too much
not really.
Genuine Xalipers are ~ $450 + gst each
Genuine Rotors are $343 + gst each
Genuine pads (required for shims) 89.95inc gst a set
Buyer got a good price, but buyer could have had a GREAT price.

The only winner here is the seller.

The current gen Yaris is a good choice. Dad picked up a Scum model Yaris and we are very happy with it.

I'd have to agree with Trent. Really not helping others grab a bargain at the end of the day by posting here. This sub-forum really was a bad idea.
Can it (not in the 'be quiet' sense like we'd like bigVAN to but the 'get rid of it' kind).
You have a power and it is a bad idea.
-
Haha yeah we totally have different taste :)
I saw these 2 BBS' wheels, 18" offset 45+ Stud Pattern 5x114.3 but center bore is 73.1 - does it make a difference?
Yes.
But you may be able to get a hubcentric ring which will make it mount to your 62mm centre with no problem.
-
Yep. I am sure it does.

We would have been the odd ones out in the Focus then (no boost)
We went baby shopping instead. Yes, this is what my life has become! Who would have thought
Mama Dee.
Who would've thought!

daaamn 15 hour days ! you deserve a nice good present for yourself.
Yah. Now these things are for sale.
edit: Forgot to mention, the rings cost me $25 each as well. So I'm offering a bargain!
-
hrmmm soo you won that TRD set on ebay ?
mitsubishi callipers huh...
No. I worked for 35 days straight, 15 hours a day back in June/July (why I missed the Annual Meet). I had no time to spend any money so at the end (I didn't even have time to pay myself) I had quite a large paycheck to work with.
Placed an order for them at Southside Woolloongabba on my first afternoon off. $980 :/
And I still need the rotors, lines and pads.
-
I have for sale a set of RDA Slotted rotors for a Mitsubishi 380 and a pair of aluminium hubcentric rings to allow it to mount to most Camry/Aurion hubs (71mm to 62mm rings). They are painted satin black with overspray on the braking surface (which will go away once you apply the brakes).
These can be used to upgrade your Camry or Aurion to a 302x18mm using a set of rear Mitsubishi 380 calipers. Project was canned as I ended up splurging (bigtime) and buying a set of TRD Aurion rear calipers instead.
While I am not 100% certain they will directly bolt on, after abit of sniffing around I was certain they should. As a result of some findings in the Aurion Brake thread, I could deduce the following:
- Aurion + Gen6 Camry: Will definitely need to have a bracket made up as the bracket holes are not the same at the 380 ones, brake lines should bolt on no problem.
- Gen5 Camry and below: Appears to be a direct bolt on, but couldn't confirm as I wasn't able to get my hands on a set of 380 calipers to confirm, brake lines should bolt on with no problem.
Paid $250 off ebay.
Instant: $130 + postage.

Get well soon!
hahahah

I think D was asking about the stock camry one that you have being restrictive.
Pretty sure the most restrictive part of the intake is the air filter...
Pffft. Who needs the air filter?
TRD aurion exhaust upgrade done!!!
