Just a quick update. planning on ordering my rear spoiler in the next few days. However I am not too sure where the best place to get them from. I have contact both SSV and Talon Body styling, and so far have been quoted around $390 for the spoiler to be prime, painted and delivered. I remember when I was purchasing my car, the dealer quoted me $500 for the spoiler which also includes fitting. So what do you guys think? is there any other places that I should check out? Cheers

Nice eyelid mate. I am surprise that it looks pretty good. However I don't think I will get them, as I am not really a big fan of them lol. Can't wait to hear about your future plans. Jalal, also forgot to ask, where did you get your real spoiler from? Was it from SSV, Talon or Toyota? Cause I am planning to order mine in the next few days, but not too sure where to get it from lol.

Hey Evo, Thats some nice photoshoppinng there mate. Yeah, I have already enquire about the XRS body kit, Talon don't have any ETA for the front pod and rear skirts. However, I have also contacted SSV, and they are doing it for a tad over $1200. I have also been trying to find those XRS grills, but don't seem to find them any where.

Lol, I am going for either black or Dark Grey Rims, I have already got one in mind. I rang Ozzy tyres for quote, it was $1400 with 4 new tyres.

Hey Guys. Just a quick run down on my ZRE. Bought it brand new last October, I am quite happy with it. But being a base model Ascent, it does look quite bland and boring. So I have decided to make it my project car :) I am pretty sure what I want, and what the end results are gonna be. Just that its gonna take some time and some money!. Below is a photo of the car without any mods. Got my inspiration for this project off the US ZRE's. I am hoping my end results will be something similar to the cars below. My mods so far are fairly basic and easy, these mods consist of the following: - Darkest legal tint - Slimline weather shields for front+rear - A set of OEM fog lights - Stainless steel scuff plates. My mods for the next 2 or 3 months: - OEM Style Rear spoiler - Set of new 17" Wheels (Either Kappa's or Levinhard Shadows) - Philips Crystal Vision bulbs How the car look at the moment: Any tips, advice or recommendations is much appreciated. Just got my slimline weather shields today. They are pretty good for $62 thanks to Jalal's recommendation. Here are some photo's that I took while I got them put on at my mates place.

Lol, that was my initial thought, cause I normally leave 20 bucks worth of coins in the cup holder, and few other stuff such as pens and gps in the glove box.

I was about to order my Crystal Vision yesterday, however the ebay seller ran out of stock. While I was at work today, I was browsing the Toyota website, and to my surprise the ZRE Corolla Ultima has HID as standard in normal reflector head lights! Does this mean getting HID for my car should be ok? I am tempted to try, but I don't want to risk it, especially if its gonna blind the living day light out of other drivers.

Hey Guys, I was wondering if anyone here is suffering from dash rattling in their ZRE, either Sedan or Hatch. I bought my ZRE Sedan 6 months ago brand new, during these times there was no rattling what so ever. Well my car just hit 6100km today, on my way home from work, I noticed there was a slight rattling sound coming from the middle console/dash. The rattling sounds normally comes when I am driving over a slightly bumpy road, its not that loud, but its damn annoying knowing a brand new car is making rattling sound :( I was wondering if anyone know what is causing these rattles, I will get it checked out when I take it in for the next service. Good Quality foglights, good pricing, i still have yet to get mine actually running... they are just for looks lol Evo Notice that you got it from Cars' R Us, which is the same seller that I got my ZRE fog lights from. If they are anything like my ZRE foggies, they will be from very good quality. I got mine in 3 working days.

Hi Jalal, I see what you mean not mate. Thanks for the clarification. Guess I am better off with the Philips Crystal Vision 4300k. I will leave my stock bulbs alone for now. I will be getting the slimline weather shield as shown by Jalal earlier and the spoiler in the next week or two. Modding is damn addictive!

i got my kits off ebay and mine are still running sweet after 2 years, not bad for a $80 set off ebay im running 6000k for low beams, i was running 8000k a while back but found it crap in the rain, 6000k is just about right Oh awesome. Which eBay 6000k kit would you guys recommend? or are they practically the same?

Hi Guys, Thanks for the heads up. Just a quick question though, I noticed that on the ZRE Hatch Corolla has project in the head lamp, whereas the Sedan doesn't. I assume this makes getting HID an bad idea? Just a quick question, have anyone bought any HID Kit off eBay yet? I have seen some darn cheap one on eBay.

Hey guys just reporting back :) Finished installing my fog lights today, and I am quite happy with the install and the end result. I was pretty damn surprised how fog lights can make the front of the car look so much better. Pics are as below. Now to my next mod, my mates mechanic friend has offered me mates rate for a HID install, his charging $200 for the installation and for the HID kit, which imho is pretty damn sweet. I was wondering if you guys think HID is a good idea at all, I think my biggest worry is that I might get pull over by cops and get hit with a defect. I believe it was an HID 6000k kit, which is white light and not blue, so what do you guys think?

As far as i know, they cost him $1700 with tyres i think... haha yeahp what wy said :) but i got it aligned and got lock nuts for my wheels for an extra $100 so all up $1800 :D Lol oh awesome. Its auto, but I guess it doesn't naming a place which provide both OEM gear knobs for manual and auto. hmm ok...i know the one that you posted up wont fit the manual because of the reverse lock and it's jsut a bit too long, so it may fit your car as im getting the TRD ball knob for mine and it's perfect other wise you could also try these? http://trdparts.jp/english/parts_shift-knob.html from styles 2-6? Hey Guys, I have been thinking about replacing the stock OEM gear knob on my Corolla Ascent to the one in the Conquest model, which is leather. Have anyone been able to source the leather gear knob any where besides contacting the dealership? Thanks in advance. Cheers, Jaron
