  1. Got a wireless orbit sander to do waxing for $50 (excluding battery), combing with tech wax, result is quite promising

I am trying to lower the back of the car, but without succeded, probably have to see John's car (junvenille)to see how he set up (we are using pedders coilover). I might need a spring compressor to adjust the height of the spring

Went to eastern creek yesterday, now is called Sydney Motorsport Park, trying the new layout..

Speedometer hits 182km/h on the main straight on 5th gear, my GPS shows 178km/h. My GPS shows measures the speed betwen 2 points in a straight line between each second, so it is only accruate on straight line

The speed is so high that the wind has popped the front bumper off a bit a few times (I was missing one screw on the side of the bumper)

First corner, the speedometer is 160-170km/h

I push quite hard to get two 2:26...It is my first time on the dry, so I am happy..

The video has 2 clean laps followed some traffic, that green mercedes is a C43 V8 engine, I can still keep on, so it is good enough. He used Toyo R888 as well

I have practised in computer game (rfactor) many times (old layout) before going there, the braking point, technique are very close

The first left haripin is not easy, it is a double apex, I practised in computer game for a while in order to get it right

(below is not my driving, but showing a good racing line)

  2. watching this video compared with Justin AE82 one, make me feel AE82 is quite sharp and quick in corners, the weight and the power of the chaser make you a bit harder to push...

what is your mistake of not getting a pb?unfortunately, you cannot compare with last time video..

I compare my videos to find my mistake..

Just my feeling, the first sharp right turn after the long sweeper can go wider I think

  3. a suprise to me that u used 6/4 before..i used 4/4 and set the coilover to the hardest and the car is undrivable on the street because it is too bumpy.....also,my car is 200kg heavier..

is there something wrong with your coilover? also,if u change your spring rate.the valve of thre shocks need to be readjusted

regarding your tyre.funny that the tyre mark is still there

  4. Passing GTR's and WRX's and getting TX3 drivers mad.

I had an issue with the R888's, not only was the weather cold, but they're just too big for the car and i couldn't warm them up regardless of what tyre pressure I ran. This caused them to be really snappy and unpredictable which made the car a handful all day... it was pretty fun though :P

The A1RM's pulled up better than anything I have ever experienced, felt great braking later than all sorts off cars! :D

But, I wasn't happy with my suspension setup, the front is rolling around too much compared to the rear and the grip is too high for the springs so the nose is diving and the car is rolling too much through the corners for my liking.

Corolla always make people mad on race track.

My R888 does not warm up at the back. R888 is not a forgiving tyre. Your snappy feeling and unpredictable feeling is normal. but when I get used to it, it is quite easy to drive..

A1RM is good. I only use it on the track, I changed to normal one on the street, glad that you like it as well

Looking at your times, look like you are still learning your car, or is it lots of traffic?

For the front suspension, looking at the picture, and compare my one on the same corner, I think your suspension is too soft, it is really rolling

Fix your whatever in your car and be ready for next one. Looking forward to you

I hope you can supply the video of your driving, especially I want to see the behaviour of your car in terms of suspension

  5. There is no definite answer for this question, you can search for youtube for dyno comparison between royal purple and nulon, you can choose to believe those results

The following is based on my opinion, not gurantee to suit your car..Trust my opinion as your own risk..

I have been doing tracking with Royal Purple and Nulon.. For Nulon, I use the 0w-40 found in Autobarn, not other places..

I don't like Royal Purple, car make more noise in the engine, and after driving 8000km, the noise is even more..

Nulon is all good so far, car become more quiet..

I won't buy Royal purple again

  6. why don't you buy the optional pack, the spoiler is hot... I don't like the factory look of 86 without spoilers and skirts.I like NA cars, they roar at high RPM which is fun
