  1. Not sure if you guys have seen this yet....

The Toyota Blade, luxury version of the Auris, saw a new element added to its lineup yesterday with the long awaited V6 version! Under the bonnet sits a 3.5 liter DOHC VVT-i V6 engine producing 280HP @ 6200rpm and 35.1kg-m @ 4700 rpm, this power being transmitted only to the front wheels (2WD / FF).

Even though many were expecting an All Wheel Drive version to support the extra power, Toyota decided to keep the Front Wheel Drive layout, as a result, many modifications were needed on the suspensions (specially tuned), brakes (16 inches diameter), 17 inches alloy wheels on 225/45R17 tyres and automatic 6 speeds gearbox.

The look of the Blade V6 was also modified with a slightly different front grille, logos here and there; leather steering wheel and shift knob, sporty and luxury interior (leather/alcantara)...

This new addition to the Blade line up is now available in Japan from 2.772.000 to 3.324.000 Yen, more news and detailled infos when we get our hands on it for a full review in the weeks to come!

  2. I think people need to learn how to swallow their pride.

Just cos someone looks at you the wrong way there isnt a really a need to react.

If someone asks you to do something, you should comply (within reason), there isnt a need to lash out. Many times ive asked people nicely to stop doing things that they shouldnt be doing and got a "wtf is your problem" response..... i just walk off. All this **** about "rep" its all crap. It means sh!t. People need to understand that, fear and respect are two different things. Problem is that the younger gen get these mixed up, they think fear is rep, and rep equals respect.

Respect is earnt, not forced upon another person.

Anyways, that was a good doco, too bad it couldnt carry on for longer... but the message is there, its the stupid media overhyping the situation, creating a mob that wants justice, then having politicians jumping on the bandwagon demanding that things happen. Most the politicians have one agenda, to get that generous superannuation pension payout.

  3. Thanks Xploshun!!!

    Its outta customs!! YAY!!

Your item cleared customs at 7:22 AM on July 25, 2007. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

    Not long to go!! :D

  4. While under warranty, Toyota demand that you ONLY use ATF that meets JWS3309 spec. This means Toyota T-IV ATF or Mobil 3309 ATF

Having said this, there are quite a few better fluids that are "compatible" with Toyota auto trans requiring T-IV. Examples include AMSOIL universal ATF, Penrite SIN ATF, Castrol Import ATF just to name a few ...

It really depends on whether you are still under factory warranty or not

Outta warranty. Which one is better than the Toyota T-IV?
