  1. How durable are forged aluminium wheel nuts compared to steel wheel nuts? Any fakes out there?

      Steel is much less likely to strip the thread, and will not get dented/scratched as much as an alloy nut when installing/removing them. Plus, the studs are steel too, and generally you want fastener materials to match as much as possible (unless you're using stainless steel, in which case they have to be different grades)
