  1. i just started having the same issue with my late 2010 Kluger today. gotta climb through from passenger side !
  2. I would suggest that $170 per service is actually pretty good, considering its a v6. My only question is how much is the service after 60,000 ? i had an xtrail (2.5 4 cyl petrol) and every service was at least $250 and it was the same interval of 10k. I agree that the Kluger would be better if it was avery 12k or 15k. But compared to other vehicles i think the servicing is pretty good on the kluger. Also they dont have a timing belt which needs doing at 100k - which sames a lot of money! cheers Dreama
  3. gday, i dont mind the idea of getting a V6 dual cab Hilux as my next work banger, and wondered what sort of economy people were getting? i would be more interested in the autos. i dont mind the idea of putting one on gas, especially that new liquid injection gas, so any thoughts on that? cheers, Smac
  4. good to hear all your fuel economy number, just wondering what you all think might be the reason the kluger does so well? have toyota mated the right power to weight and to the right gearbox? and im also thinking that the Aurion must get even better economy ?? i currently have a 2007 Xtrail 2.5petrol CVT Auto and about Jan2012 will be replaceing it, so Kluger is high on the list. My Xtrail gets about 11L/100kms, so Kluger sounds great.
  5. that looks awesome mate !

probably worth getting in touch with someone like Capa, and see if they have something that would fit the Kluger (http://www.capa.com.au/kits.htm). under the toyota banner they dont mention Kluger, but worth asking them anyway... as mentioned, its all about how much you want to spend !! ;)
  7. ha ha ha thats a classic - didnt the 150 just come out? but, yes its a bit fugly. i reckon it will be something like about 2014, and probably get an upgraded Diesel as well (but im only guessing)
  8. interesting to see you guys getting such good fuel economy from a V6 SUV. a guy i work with has a 2wd Kluger and absolutely loves it and reckons the economy is great. its a bit scary to hear about the oil line blowing the motor - ive always thought that toyota was better than that, but i guess they are all in it for the money at the end of the day. Have you driven the Land Cruiser 4.5V8TDI ? I know a guy that has one and absolutely loves it, and averages about 12l/100 as well and he is definitely light on the accelerator. i have an xtrail at the moment and it averages 10.5l/100 (2.5Petrol auto) and I will be upgrading about this time next year to something bigger, possibly a Kluger
  9. hi, just intersted to see what sort of economy people are getting from their Hilux in both V6 or the Diesel. i reckon a Dual Cab 4.0V6 on gas would be a pretty nice truck to cruise around in, but if the V6 isnt as thirsty as i may think, then gas might not be worth it. what are your thoughts? cheers, Dreama
  10. mate that is a sweet lookin Toyo
  11. Hi, just wondering how many Kilometers have you done in your trusty Toyota? my old (now non existant) 72 Corolla wagon had clicked over a couple of times, so just interested to see what other people have done in their Toyotas? cheers, dreama
