Got quoted $690 supplied and fitted and aligned for pedderrs lowered springs, will be getting it done soon. Wishing I could stretch the budget to get coilovers but its not possible at the moment.

I've bitten the bullet and gone the coilovers....I figure it a basic need so bugger it :Dnext on the list is either clear tail lights or exhaust note.....after me credit card recovers that is

I've upgraded my rims n tyres to 20" spyders with 245/35 series rubber.

I'm looking to lower my car and I'd like to hear from people who have a similar combination or any recommendations.

thinking about vehicle wraps applied to rides and if they survive a few years or are more trouble than they are worth when time comes to remove etc.

Heyya, so we just got a exhaust put on the aurion, our local guy couldnt get any pre-made ehxaust systems, so he was playing around with diffrent mufflers, when he disscoverd a HSV system fit perfectly, i dont know the specs but it sounds awesome.

Which exhaust centres did you try, i did mine at Carline. (I know different car but love the sound of mine). Give them a try, i got a Lukey/Walker muffler on mine. If your near Canning Vale i'd recommend the shop i went to, he was pretty nice and let me listen to a few mufflers with a test setup to see which one i liked the sound of.

as you might scrub on 245/35R20 or get your guards rolled

So far no troubles with the set up and as of today I have decided to lower her a tad not sure how much but will take advise as it comes.

In the end end end end end end I want her to look a bit mongrel a bit ragged n tested without the bruises lol

Has anyone taken out the black surrounds under the grill and the surrounds for the driving lights on an at-x and left them blank? Are there any major trade offs in airflow or legality?

I have taken them both off and the car looks like it came off a trash heap without them. It would be legal but there would be no airflow or cooling benefits at all so why bother?

Thanks matey for that....I've sent emails to EMU Auto Works,Prestige Exhaust & Mufflers and APC Aus Performance Centre.

Hopefully I'll come out with an idea of product,ability and cost.

I will certainly look at Carline aswell :)

my aurion runs mostly on 98 RON unleaded, but from different companies, for example i use mobil 98 for a 1 tank and bp ultimate for another. to my knowledge, different companies mix their fuel in slighty different ways, and therefore it may contain different elements and substances to each other. so my questions is, is it OK to use different fuel from different companies or stick with 1 and why. im asking this question because im worried that what im currently doing will lead to problems for the engine in the future.

That's not what this mirror thing is about. This is about the side mirrors tilting downwards so that you can see where your wheels are in relation to the kerb. With your mirrors in their normal position, no amount of looking over your shoulder or out the door is going to help you see the kerb next to your wheels on the passenger side.

I've just added wheels n tyres LWT Spyders 20/8 and matching 245/35R20 tyres.

I'm in a few minds about my next job...lowering,exhaust or clear led rear lights.

I think the red lights go well with the white car and black wheels...any thoughts?

I don't want any scraping on the wheels so I'm reluctant to run head long into lowering,I may bring her down minimally...any thoughts on that?

Currently I've sent emails to a few exhaust centres awaiting their reply in regards to ability and costs of giving the car a meatier exhaust note.
