  1. Oh yeah yeah they're all new models and everything ('94 Series 5 RX7, 350Z) but they have a '69 mustang in it. The AE86 would out drift any of those newer cars anyway. All the Drift Champions in Japan have only ever drivin AE86's (well the shell type anyway, there's AE85 too etc).

  2. I just wanna ride lower, and be able to corner better, a lot better. Riding low on 65mm drop super low's is ok I guess, but if you put something in the car? Spring sag. I like the idea of coilovers because it's like riding around on 4 poles. I was going to get rims, but then I thought, "No...wait I'll spend the money on something that will actually enhance the performance of my car.". That's all.

    "No man is mountain...except banGn"

Oh yeah hey spec_black...post something. I wanna see the funny big balled wolf thing in your avatar hahahaha.

  3. Assuming the track spec D2s are stiffer then the street spec... a fair assumption to make... then the Cuscos would be softer then all of them. But nice and comfy yet stable...

Yeah you pay for what you get with cusco's. I just need something decent, but not over the top. The D2's seem to be the sweet spot. BanGn had track D2's and now he has Street one's. He said they're still firm yet it's a bit easier on his kidneys

  5. Can anyone tell me what the spring rates are for the D2s?

    I know these so far

Cusco have 7kg/mm front, 5kg/mm rear

    G4 have 7.5kg/mm front, 6.2kg/mm rear

would be nice to include the D2 data as well :)

    Cheers in advance...

I shall ask Master BanGn. I believe they are the same as the G4's in street trim. The track one's? WOA hahaha stiffer than the cusco's even I thnk?

  6. Nelson 'drove' a red sportivo and lost his life in one around the cotter twists. Nelson posseses part of my being now as his car was identical to mine, and finds solice in it. He sometimes comes out, he's the weird one. Rob is the sentimental, observant and compassionate one...('hahahaha what a load of crap')...shutup Nelson!!!

('hahahaha what a load of crap') <-------- that was Nelson, he's been a sh!t today, thank *** he didn't come out in front of Mick when we were cleaning the car.

  7. they run a cd on a computer and it tells them what to mix in a jar. usually they replace the door skin so when you get the car back check the seals are put back in properly and check that they sprayed all the edges because sometimes you can feel a dry edge where they only bothered to spray the surface. you may find that they bolt on the door slightly different position that original they may line it up better than how the car was assembled from factory.

This is correct. I replaced door skins daily back when I was an apprentice panel beater. Give me all the boring jobs lol. All the other guys were fitting kits etc. B@stards lol

  8. Ok ok...so this is FF3: Tokyo DRIFT

I tell you, they'd better have some AE86's in this movie. If they don't, I'm going to bomb hollywood. The AE86 is the godfather of drifting, it deserves a role, irregardless of whether it was overdone in another movie or not.
