  4. or you could use a compression tester... Hahahha....Yeah....easier way....any idea how much do they cost anyways? I assumed they wudnt be cheap thus used my super methods....lol...

  7. DOnt know if this would help.....I used parts list...shows how things are connected..... Also has links to other stuff u will need... http://www.turboninjas.com/camry/
  8. When repairing the head gasket...dont take the shorter path....Some people simply replace the head gasket but make sure u machine the head and block...
  9. I rekon its cam seals as well... Celicas have a bad reputation with that.. Atleast mine had...lol...
  10. for myself, i found it easy but just time consuming. You start from the very rear and then work your way around the sides. Just need a bit of force to get the job done. You'll need a 14mm to remove the top half of the rear seats and to remove the bottom half, pull the seats from the rear and they will come off with a bit of force as they are clipped on at the front. Does those dent puller work by any chance??anyone knows?? If yes u could do that
  11. Just do the basic check....Celica as far as I know...dont really come with major flaws... Check Oil, water, coolant....Sign for blown head gasket.....Maybe compression.... Easy way of compression Test: 1)Start the engine...open the oil cap but make sure u keep it coverd with the cap...and see if it tries to jump out...if it does...Then all good Or 2)Take a piece of cloth....start the engine cover the exhaust for like 5 to 10 sec....let it go....Check compression.. Please note...this is my way of checking ...
