  1. as some of you know i work overseas now and based in asia. i have direct access to a lot of parts including c-one and trd factory. i have been buying things for several members here already the past year.

i can help you if you want the part. the only problem with c-one however is the time it takes. they have no stock and need to make it for you and they usually take months.

  2. second hand factory sat navs are really cheap in asia and i have been tempted in getting one for myself originally from lexus but stayed away from it because of the language and maps compatibility to australia.

i do not think you can change the language. it looks chinese rather than japanese. same thing goes with parallel import mobiles you can get the same model but with different languages for different markets and they cost more/less.

  3. not hard but troublesome to get the door handles off. you got to know how to remove the inner door trim and then remove the plastic water shield to reach the back of the door handles. later you need to put the water shield back in place.

  4. I want to get rid of my rear tail gate bar because it is not colour coded, does anyone know how or has done this sort of surgery before? any pictures of what it may look like? What about the door handle & the 'door stopper strip' how much do they cost?

painting the side mouldings and door handles generally costs $30 to $50 per part. you may be charged more for the labour to dismantle your doors to remove the door handles.

the boot garnish costs more. you would need to buy a new badge for it if you want to stick it on nicely. the oem badge is around $35.

i had this done and was going to plastic weld the key hole but in the end just left it as it added to the cost.

i think it is better to just shave the side mouldings. the look of the car gets changed but is along the lines of the accord euro, just a flat door skin. otherwise painting and sticking everything back on costs quite a bit.

  5. do you know which place are you going to get it from?

there are so many suppliers and i am lost to which is a good one to deal with. i have thought about this since i know people who travel to and from the states quite regularly therefore can save on air freight. the price turns me off however when there are alternatives like cosmo racing is so much cheaper yet the quality some say is much better than trd.

you would only be charged duty/tax if the consignment is over a$1,000 or if customs believes the goods are intended for commercial purpose.

  6. because it is genuine it comes with proper peg clips which secure to oem sportivo grill. you could cut off the peg clips and then use silicone to glue it to other grills.

can u help me get one, pleeeeease :)

    check your pm.

  7. quite uncommon to be used in australia since i think people generally pick up the local like greenstuff but over in asia this is top stuff being used by most in the modified scene same with most using advan neova tyres.

endless has brake pads out for the zze12#/nze12#

a lot cheaper than project mu

i would have something like this now along with slotted rotors but toyota warranty replaced mine for free so now i stick with genuine parts until they wear out again.

what other pads are you looking at?
