after skyhigh was renovated i think that mountain is good during the day because you get to the top you can stop and relax. you often get held back by slower traffic going up and down the mountain but then it is not a race. back in the day you could go to skyhigh at night but now with those gates and secu patrols of the tourist attraction you cannot get in.

I'll come if there's a photoshoot or anything.
pretty boy! had to say that :P

I shouldn't have any problems getting an import permit
as you may know you need to have proof of ownership for 1 year for personal import scheme such as registration papers in your name, parking records, petrol and maintenance receipts

i got a price hope it helps for comparison.
c-one front tower $237
c-one rear tower $197
above excludes postage from overseas.
i use c-one myself since i picked it up at a really good price. i also like the fact that c-one is purely toyota tuning and they produce many parts for this car. but if the price was standard like above i would definately take cusco as it is quite cheaper. and if you do not really want jdm, summit from taiwan is cheaper too. cusco has a nice touch as well having laser engraved logo on the bar. everyone else just gives you a sticker.

racing project is usually busy
-
generally it done is to do it yourself more about your car and can take the time to do the job well.

A CAI can still be fitted to the facelift models no worries i assume?
the engine is the same 2zzge. good thing about this car is there is a lot of parts for it
-
awesome looking wheels. some say they are heavy though. lower the car and wrap a bodykit around it and i think it would look great.
-
try search google images for Work XD9

i totally agree with getting genuine parts without doubt genuine is made to a high standard. it does cost you more but i think you will be happier with the product because you will have a lot less issues with it now and later. i have a friend who got a custom widebody kit made in fibreglass. little did he know it should be made of of metal and now it frequently cracks.
as some of you know i have modellista gialla side skirts. these are made with abs and the quality is second to none. these cost $800 without paint but there was no fitting problems everything went into place. carmate have the copy of this and it may look the same but it would be much weaker. not sure how the fitment is but if it is anything like the front bar i have seen it probably is very poor.
you could probably play cricket with my sideskirts and not break them and they are only about 1.5mm thick! an awesome thing about jap quality and save weight yet very very strong. genuine toyota such as the sportivo bodykit however uses a different kind of abs which is much thicker and therefore adds weight.

If a C-One or Bomex kit came to me in Fibreglass I'd immediately ask for my money back as it's fake...
c-one uses fibreglass. those who have the spoiler wings may know.
im not basing this on hear say ..... there are a few members here that have bought body work from carmate only to be severly disappointed with what was supplied .......
i know someone who got a kit from them for a 2003 hatch. when a few metres away you can see a large gap underneath the head lights. standing at a distance though you do not really notice it as you are more impressed by the overall style of the bodykit.
