    Thanks Pete. Good that you tell me not to wash a hot car..i thought this was only a problem with waxing. I might get the Mothers cleaning bag that was reviewed on here, seems to have everything i need to keep my car nice and clean. Also i might ask my dad to pay half of one of those electric polishing machines...his landcruiser could do with a little bit of shinyness.

    Hi guys, some of you might have read the status update, but yea here it is again. I washed my corolla today with a car wash product, did everything like it says on the bottle, but in the end i noticed a few (really not much) white-ish streaks on the doors mostly. Here's a picture: You can see it just before the door bends. And one in the top left corner. Was this caused by the product i used? And how can i get rid of it? After spray-waxing the car its barely visible now, but still its there.

      Do you use the 'hog brush' to wash your car?? Due to its volume of use particles can get trapped in it and when you use it to wash your paint the contaminates in it are actually scratching the surface :( Hence why I don't use it at all.

      Or are you talking about a product you've used to hand wash the car? But yeah, pics would be good :)

Do they really work and do they really not void the warranty? AND another question regarding performance...would a cold air intake void my cars warranty? Thanks guys:)

    man i want those bright lights all over my ZR. i hate the stock lighting..its too weak i can barely see anything with it lol. Shame i know nothing about changing stuff like this :( wouldnt mind that lexus either though. good work, keep it up. B)

    should my seat be moving at all when i accelerate? when i take off i can feel it moving slightly...

      My ZR rail does move a bit when accel, feels like its hasnt located properly.

      hm you think just checking all the nuts and bolts would do?

      I think its the tooth/slide locking mechanism, not the actual bolts/nuts.

    yeah thats normal. When you flick the parker and low beams on the dash just lights up. Thats about it. High beams have that blue light. Foglights also have a green light to indicate that its on. If you ever forget that they're on there's always the crazy beep when you open the door and leave the lights on. Ah ok good i thought i found another thing thats broken. Thanks.

    Hi guys, i was just wondering whether it is normal that when i turn my headlights on, there is no indication on the dash that they are on. So no small light between the gauges telling me that they are switched on. Is this normal for a corolla ascent? It works for high beam just the normal lights dont show up but they work. Thanks.

    i have the same problem. When i connect an MP3 player, most of the songs have really bad audio quality. In my dads landcruiser theyre fine.

      turns out the fuse was blown. took it out and replaced it with the fog light fuse.

    does waterspray behind the car get really bad if i remove the spray guards? they look terrible.

      NAh remove them, your not behind your car when driving! doesnt make the car much dirtier either, i took mine off the first hour i was home.

    2011 just started 5 days ago. i doubt any car manufacturer brings out their new car 5 days after new years. give them some time, i reckon we will get to see a facelift or even new corolla. what we will get to see is a hybrid Auris (Auris being the european twin of the corolla) and theres a new Corolla sedan coming, but i think thats only for the US. And yes 2007 was the first ZRE.
