  1. Its easier to install coilovers, well good ones like Cusco anyway since they are one unit and don't need to reuse existing components. Just drop out the old shock/spring toghether (no compressor required), then bolt the coilover in, and done. With Cusco they come pre adjusted and tightened for a perfect ride height, so no need to touch.
  2. You'd will prob "gain" 10kw with a different dyno.
  3. Don't go car mate, it will look ****, not fit right and you will need to spend more money to mount it properly.
  4. Id say, you would probably cost you less labour hours to bolt in another box (prob can do it yourself if have the know how). Pulling a box apart to fix a syncro is messy and time consuming. Although you never know if the new box hasn't got the same problem. Sometimes it is better to work with what you have, since it can be less of a risk.
  5. Fast gear changing wont break a syncro, lifting the clutch up to early might. Someone on here is selling a whole engine plus gear box for 1.5k, maybe a better option plus you have some spare part from your original box and new engine for latter down the track.
  6. You dont need the short short shifter to maintain lift between gear changes, you just need to learn to drive the Corolla. I very rarely miss a 1st to 2nd lift change with or without a short shifter. I think the short shifter just makes it much nicer and more solid to shift, and reduces chances of missing gears cuz you always know what gear your in.
  7. My opinion, The TRD Short shifter is the best mod you can do to your rolla.
  8. The boots on rollas are ***** weak, they should do a recall.
  9. My old CES lost power in the low end vey undrivable, Id say my TRD has more low end, much nicer to drive than stock. i dunno what you guys are doing down there to get these results..... Maybe the CES intakes don't agree with the Melbourne weather haha, i dunno. But with the TRD I have found that it has alot more pick-up and actually pulls well when putting your foot down in 6th gear (or any other gears) compared with the stock airbox.
  10. Ever since my front sway bar install i have had no axle tramp, even in the wet, it just spins!!!!!!!!!!!!I'm not sure y it fixed it, but its completely gone!!!!!!!!!

  12. Ive driven without my inner gaurd and the POD was saturated. Not 1 problem.
  13. I had a simular sound but it was a broken exahst mount, thought it was the suspension but wasn't.
  14. Yep I have better fuel economy too, go CAI
  15. Hey Bangn, you have owned all three (Cusco, D2 and Tein). How about a review.
