  1. Oh I hate when spray painting is perfect until the end.....a wind blew some damn newspaper onto my grill as it was drying, paint was too dry to remove the paper so I had to wipe some paint from other parts of the grille.....Can't notice it too much, but I know it's there And my tv doesn't **** up, the tv stations do.....Damn you channel 7!!! LMAO.(re:TV stations) I've seen the pics of your grill, not noticable. Knowing me, I'd have rubbed it back & tried again.
  2. Hmmm, sooooo many things. - when people wait at an intersection, THEN pull out forcing you to stand on your brakes - when you're spray painting something & it looks awesome......... until you apply the last coat - when the TV F#@ks up in the middle of your favourite show & that's just today So many more I could list...... but it's late (yawn)
  3. To answer your first question: 3 - 4 clicks is perfect. There are more than one adjustment in the cable. you may find that after going to the trouble of removing your console & adjusting the end cable that it makes little or no difference. Before you do that, get under the car. In the centre at about where the console ends you should find a saddle where the cables from the rear brakes meet the one leading to the handbrake lever. Adjust here first, then, if you need to, adjust the one inside. Failing that you may need to replace the cables (let's hope not, it's not an easy job) Let me know how you go or if you need more help
  4. Hey Dazz, Most, if not all, aftermarket towbars are made off the OEM measurements & specs so fitting a skirt "should not" be much of a problem. Worst case scenario, simply remove the towbar altogether or, if you intend to keep using it, simply cut a hole in the skirt to accommodate the tongue
  5. A V6 maybe, a 4 on the other hand...... my sister has a 95 apollo with about 250k on it that died about a year ago.... but... they tend to do that when you treat them like a V8. She's one of those drivers who only has 2 throttle positions; up & down. unlike my Laser; 1.6 litre 5 speed & virtually bulletproof. Will upload some pics soon
  6. I've visited here due to google searches over the last few months since buying my Vienta (BEST CAR EVER!) & thought "what the hell". So, here I am :) I've had a few cars over the years; 2 Lasers, 2 Holdens (a Gemini that was written off for me, & the worst V8 Commodore you've ever seen... seriously, my last Laser was quicker) a Mazda & 2 Toyotas, the first being my first car, a 1965 RT40 Corona, & now I am the proud new owner of a one owner '96 Vienta. It has a few K's on it but you wouldn't know it. Apart from that it's a pretty neat unit. Well, that's enough from me for now, hope to get to know a few of you in time.
