  1. non-bias reviews are great. I like the work.

All these subs have a purpose and a target market. I found it funny reading one of the reviews and finding out that some screws are loose! What would happen if you decided to crack it?!!?!?!?! Blow out like a Tyre?

Personally, I'd go for an under seat sub if I wanted to be discrete or the response boxed unit. Fusion had a name a while back, but there is better for the same price.

  2. ok.

The long awaited install has started.

Due to some logistical issues, My head deck is not yet installed. However, i have done all the pre-wiring possible before we get deck.

This post should outline how to feed the cables from the deck and battery to back of the car

FYI, I just did my 30,000km service and I requested a fuel injection treatment ($99 from toyota) and it made it even better. So far i had 750km from full to empty.

    JDM 6000K 8000K 10000K 12000K Garax D4S or D4R HID Xenon Upgrade Bulbs

    Introduction

This page features a pair of High Quality Genuine Japan Imported Garax 6000K, 8000K, 10000K or 12000K Mercury-Free JDM D4C (aka D4S or D4R) HID upgrading bulbs for OEM HID equipped vehicles such as Lexus or Toyota.

Unlike other sellers' cheap Chinese knock-off retrofit D4S/D4R bulbs converted from regular D2S/D2R bulbs, our JDM D4C HID bulbs are genuine Mercury-Free D4 bulbs using genuine Philips Burners.

Those Chinese knock-off retrofit D4S/D4R from D2S/D2R bulbs will burn out quick because genuine D4S/D4R HID bulbs are working under a higher 43V ballast comparing with regular D2S/D2R's 36V ballast.

The color temperature on OEM HID equipped vehicles are just 4300K, which they look yellowish and the lighting is not intense at all. After replacing the stock 4300K D4S or D4R bulbs with the JDM D4S or D4R bulbs, it will get rid of the yellowish look. The color temperature of the JDM bulbs will emit a Ultra White (6000K), Brilliant bluish (8000K), Deep Blue (10000K) or Light Purple (12000K)

It is perfect for customers who are looking for the better performance and exotic looking light output for their loved vehicles.

These Mercury-Free JDM D4C HID upgrading bulbs are precisely assembled by GARAX Inc. from Japan in order to maintain exact focus point and consistency. This will make sure the beam pattern will be the same as the stock 4300K D4S or D4R bulbs.

Don't settle with those knock-off Chinese D2S/D2R converted D4S/D4R bulbs. Our HID bulbs will ensure you with the highest quality, best performance and longest lasting.

  7. As I'm still about 10 weeks away from getting my car I'm trying to plan a few things in preparation.

Does anyone know the brand/model of the stock head unit in the facelift Levin ZR ? Does Toyota still own Fujitsu Ten and still use their units ?? If no-one knows this does anyone know what's on the rear panel and/or if there's tricky things you can do ie. access line in/outs, connect a USB device through the rear etc. ?

Also, as I don't own an iPod I have no idea what the interface is like on the head unit. Is it OK ? Would a 160Gb iPod chokka block full of music be too much for it or too difficult to navigate through ? I'm hoping not.

I know there are plenty of aftermarket alternatives out there but initially I just want to keep things stocko.

    Hey Guys,

Yes, its a Fujitsu ten / eclipse stereo. They still do all the stereos for Toyota's sold in AU. There is a USB & AUX port on the front of the unit where you can plug a USB stick, iPod / iPhone or other Portable Music Player.

I plug my iphone 32GB in to the stock unit via the cable supplied by apple to connect it to a MAC or PC. With so much music, I would suggest using the genius function, so you get the same style of music maybe? But there should be no probs with connecting it up....it will even charge it for you :)
