  1. If Toyota do agree to fix it under warranty, try to get them to replace the entire squab cover instead of just repairing your existing cover. Also, for the record, the damaged seam pictured is called a 'french seam'. This type of seam has no piping sewn into it and can be a bit of a bugger to repair properly if the leather is worn right through (as opposed to just scuffed).
  2. You could also take it to a motor trimmer and get them to repair your existing seat.
  3. The side mirrors in the Aurion are the same and I've cut people off on more than one occasion because of it. They are downright dangerous in my opinion and I'm now a lot more timid in my lane changing these days as a result.
  4. Agreed. It can also leave a residue on you windscreen after a couple of really hot days in the sun.
  5. I saw these on ebay recently. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-11-Toyota-Aurion-Camry-OEM-Driving-CCFL-Fog-Lights-/170658423142?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27bc08e166 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-09-Toyota-Aurion-Camry-OEM-Driving-CCFL-Fog-Lights-/170658423107?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27bc08e143 They're a combination of daytime running lights (in this case 'angel eyes') and fog lights. At least they don't look like an add-on.

Good point. I guess it comes down to its perceived value.
  7. I'm not sure if the Camry is the same as the Aurion with regards to the roof console, but you may find this similar thread helpfull nonetheless.
  8. The switch is connected to the ground wire so splice both wires, otherwise the light won't turn off when you close the boot. With regards to the polarity, if the LEDs don't work one way, swap the wires around.
  9. I too noticed the dead link to the pic of the wiring in this thread, so recently tried to revive another similar thread. I hope you have more luck with responses than I did though.
  10. I've installed some ebay purchased fog lights into my 09 update ATX Aurion but the wiring harness for the indicator/headlight stalk on my vehicle doesn't seem to be the same as described above. Below is a pic of my wiring harness for the indicator/headlight stalk. Am I missing something here? Where are the fog light switch wires? Is this somehow different from earlier model Aurions?
