I'll try to keep ambiguous for the sake of privacy - there's a blue pre-facelift Sportivo that parks in the Eight Mile Plains technology park from time to time - lowered, white rims, eyelids on the headlights - I didn't get a good look but it might be partially debadged too, also looked like it might have the rear spoiler 'wingtips' I've seen on some members pics here - does it sound familiar to anyone? Is the owner a member here?
Wei Wei is the only blue one that we know of on the forums with white wheels here in brisbane.

Yeh I was more meaning to make gearshifts into lift easier but I guess lowering the lift point will help.
General consensus seems to be that 5,700rpm is about right? I have head stories of people going down to 5,200rpm etc but I'm presuming you lose power because the small cam is more efficient than the big cam at those revs?
spot on the money mate.

with the stock cams there isn't much point going over the stock rev limit as the power gains are small and the change of doing serious damage is Big.

1. Covered
2. With the clutch adjusted correctly and the Power FC running a lift point of 5,700RPM you wont have any probs making shifts and staying in lift.
3. Both Xoom and myself started with 8,700RPM fuel cuts on stock internals untill mine dropped a rod, I am now using the stock fuel cut untill my new internals arrive. Xoom is up around the 8,400rpm mark with his rebuilt Turbo setup.

5. The Moroso sump is cheap insurance against Oil Starvation another item that I will be getting

pretty obvious where i stand.

my post wasn't directed at anyone in particular, just telling you guys why there isn't a catback system for the 1zz advertised.
-
Check the CES thread because Northy made a post some time ago about CES working on a 2.25" system for the 1ZZ vehicles. How's that going Corey?
after all the **** CES was put through for making an exhaust for a 2zz they have simply not bothered with the 1zz catback. Trevor basically said, why should i bother going through all that crap again.....So if you want a catback you will have to ring CES, there are few 1zz's here in brisbane that have catbacks from CES because we seem to keep our opinions on stuff that we know nothing about to ourselves.... <_<

The intake side of the headders are ported, the collector end isn't, its just been cleaned up to remove any sticky out bits, then they are HPC coated.

just spoken to steve and we are going to try and get this happening with more intergration into the forums as apposed to just a thread/post.

after discussing this with bill at length and looking over the install manual, it looks good for a straight bolt up option. So where are all the "I have 10K and want F/I" people now....crickets......
