So, we've got Phil and Rowan flying down Friday morning/night and Brenndan, Corey and Daryl driving... Is that right?

I'm really keen to come. But I just wanna make sure ROL14's 100% right for the trip, which I should know in a couple more weeks or so. I just wanna see how she goes. Or, if it gets too late and you folks are booking flights then I might just fly. I'm assuming you haven't booked flights yet?

I've not done a trip like this before so not really sure what's best as far as driving whole way/stopping over/flying/bumming a lift...

i can see this is an argument i cant win but id like to make a couple of points

1. before myself or jj posted here this car hadnt had a hit since early 2007

2. i see the reason for being pinned was cause he was a silver member but the car was never any thing even remotly special, rims and maybe a cai

3. a shame to see people get into the pinned section cause they know people, not for there cars alone

It would be a shame for sombody to get kicked off the site because of who they didn't know, This is a 50/50 and not everyone is going to be happy i'll unpin the thread and lets just leave it at that.

I would NOT recomend a non stop drive on the way down, the guys have a big weekend planed and i think it would be good if we could arrive semi awake. I will by no means be driving like a granny, While on the road we will be going as fast as we can (within the speed limits of course)

- 11:00 AM Meet and Greet TMCA Melb. HQ. (TBC)

- 12:30 PM BBQ Lunch and TOCAU National Meet Stickers and Showbags Give away. (I'll a list of numbers for this guys)

- 2:30 PM Show and Shine Judged by Autobarn/East Coast AutoSpares (TBC)

- 7:30 PM Pub Meal Somewhere good chance it'll be The Rosstown Hotel in Carnegie. Followed by a visit to the Pool Hall just up the road (local car enthusiast hangout) then depending on the rate of alcohol consumption... we could head to an industrial area for a drive ;)

Sunday

- 9:00 AM Meet up for the Cruise at TMCA.

TOCAU Nat. Meet Cruise

- 8:00 PM Dinner at Hogs Breath Cafe.

At this stage I'll be driving down looking to leave on Thursday, stay overnight in Syd then on to Melb on Friday.

Dates are June 4th (thurs) through to June 8th (Mon)

Just wondering why you guys are looking at oversea's stuff that may or may not fit when most decent exhaust shops/fabricators can make something like that without too much effort at all? It would end up being a lot cheaper, considering the way the exchange rate is at the moment.

Because nobody wants to front the cash to be the test dummy.

I have just got home from work after a 6am start so im bit tired lol

lol ..... yes i am ..... several clicks of the boost controller to the left nets the same results .... i.e. an increase in 30HP .... lol

make the boosters do friday night, make ours sat or sunday, that way we have time to give our cars a wash etc. Friday night will be out for most of us due to being rooted from a weeks work.

Well, I've emailed Trevor's CES email address and it's been 4-5 days and not a reply. So I'm guessing they're not really interested in my business.

I did mention I was from TOCAU and that I drove a ZRE Sedan so there might be variations to the CAI piping length etc etc.

If anyone of you can get in contact with them it'd be great, otherwise I think I'll just get one custom made over here in Perth.
